Chapter 37 - Toxic Stream!

Scott stepped out of the workshop and shut the door.

The cool night air brushed against his face, though the rest of his body felt oddly encased. The oversized suit he wore groaned slightly with each movement, clearly too large for his frame.

He glanced down at the clunky metallic plating and shook his head with mild amusement.

"This looks ridiculous…"

Then came the mask—sleek and angular but also comically oversized. He slid it over his head and the internal systems whirred to life as it locked into place.

A soft blue light illuminated the HUD inside.

Scott scanned his surroundings cautiously.

This area of Meteor City—known for its upscale, eerily quiet streets—felt safe enough. No gangs. No shady deals. Just a dead silence punctuated by the distant hum of air purifiers.

He tapped the flat metal piece on his chest.
