Ahhhhh!!!!

The demon screamed as he is thrown into a white pan dimensional space. "NOO! They didn't. it cant be possible. they-" he stops and takes a look around. It burst out laughing. "Of course they didn't stop me. They cant!" He swirls around dematerializing and rematerializing in the blank space. "ohhh, that was fun. But lets maybe try this time. Make it a bit more interesting. Just have to figure out where I am. it feels familiar but I can't just put my eye on it."

MEDOWAY [Two days ago].

Atlas gets back from school, his bag crossed around his torso as he walks into the Cafe.

"Youre back" a voice called from the kitchen.

"Yes, Mr Howard." atlas replied. he goes to the kitchen and sees Mr howard, a middle aged man working under an oven. he steps out and wipes his hands clean of grease. "so how was your first day. schools as good as they say?" he asked with a pointed look. "yeah." atlas replied. "better than i imagined." he added.

"I should help with that." Atlas offered.

Mr Howard: I'm done here, you should go unpack the books i bought from a closing library. Some a them might be useful but am sure there might be some rusty ones too. Sort them out.

Atlas: yes Sir.

Atlas takes off his bag as he turns to leave. Mr. Howard called him again.

Mr. Howard: Atlas!.

Atlas turns to him with an almost startled expression.

Mr Howard: everything is okay at school right?

Atlas: i...yes. It is.

The cafe in the city is far different from the quaint shop atlas was used to back in the old country side. its a two story building with modern furnishing. the top floor was already abandoned and worn out when they got here. only the ground floor was in somewhat good shape. for a quite expensive place its surprising how badly it was maintained. still, this is long way from an old bakery by the farm house.
