Chapter 475 - Chapter 475: First Visit to Zala's Home

"Stop messing around! I'm still reading!"

Feeling the little person hugging him gradually warming up, Cagalli shot him an annoyed glance, as if she knew he was up to no good.

"This way, you'll remember better."

"You're just lying!"

Even though she said that, as He Kui's increasingly intense advances continued, Cagalli eventually set her book aside.

"It's fine, if you don't understand, I can teach you."

"And are you sure you can focus right now?"

Just as He Kui said, Cagalli's cheeks were flushed with an alluring peach hue, and even her naturally tanned skin had taken on a hint of pink.

With her mind filled with those kinds of thoughts, how could she possibly concentrate?

"When are you coming over?"

Cagalli turned to embrace Xiao Liu, her eyes filled with both love and frustration.

While this was nice, He Kui was still lingering outside.

There was no real sense of presence at all.

"Almost there, just waiting for the situation to ease up a bit."

Both of them were currently tied up; Cagalli was the princess of Orb and was being groomed by Uzumi, making it impossible for her to go to PLANT at this critical moment.

As for He Kui, if he wanted to leave PLANT, it was unlikely anyone would agree.

"You're just trying to placate me."

After that teasing remark, Cagalli temporarily pushed aside her troublesome thoughts and they began to engage once more.

[Cagalli. Asuha Ability +100]

[Cagalli. Asuha Affection Level 115]

[Affection Bonus +5]

[Physique A Grade (50477/100000)]

She had already surpassed half, but it was still a bit slow.

At most, she could only manage a little over three thousand a day, meaning it would take about another month to complete.

This was after excluding the time spent playing with Shi and focusing on making gifts here.

After all, a girl's work was plentiful; he couldn't possibly keep her in bed for twenty-four hours. Just looking at the gradually filling room with Haros and small machines made it clear he was truly working himself to the bone.

However, time was precious.

"By the way, Erica said the designs of these machines are quite interesting and wants to take a look at one."

At that moment, Cagalli had just broken a sweat, and her sturdy body seemed unfazed as she flipped over from the bed and picked up the book that had been tossed aside.

"Go ahead, it's fine."

He deliberately distinguished his style from He Kui's, which was quite easy for an S-class like him.

He had been giving gifts for so long that if he were to expose himself, it would have happened already.

Moreover, the gifts remained at B-grade, so there was no risk of exposure.

At most, they would just call him a genius.

After chatting with Cagalli for a bit longer, He Kui continued to create these seemingly useless little items.

Meanwhile, his mind began to empty.

It was about time to communicate with the other side.

It would be good to touch base with Renoya Zala and perhaps gain Patrick's support.

If the war ended smoothly, then this project would become the most sought-after field.

It was always good to prepare without making a direct announcement.

And it would also help secure more support from Patrick.

With that thought in mind, He Kui quickly contacted Patrick.

The next day, amidst the busy schedule of fighting on Earth, Patrick still managed to invite He Kui to his home in December City in the evening.

Patrick's home was on par with Clyne's, both being impressively large.

Clyne had the backing of royalty and invested heavily in many industries within PLANT, while Zala was also quite wealthy, though not to the extent of Clyne. Nevertheless, he was still a significant figure within PLANT.

In the early days, before PLANT was established, their families were among the wealthiest, and now it was even more so.

Otherwise, why would the Naturals be dissatisfied?

As He Kui entered through the massive double iron doors, he immediately spotted Renoya, whom he was meeting for the first time.

With her short hair and gentle demeanor, resembling Athrun's hair color, she looked like a kind mother.

"Hello, Mrs. Renoya."

He Kui bowed slightly.

"You must be He Kui; this is our first meeting."

"Please come in, no need to be so polite."

Renoya smiled lightly.

After He Kui acknowledged her, he followed Renoya into the house.

The interior decoration was as lavish as Clyne's.

"Let's have some tea while we wait; Rick is still working."

As she spoke, a hint of complaint flashed across Renoya's face.

"No rush."

Of course, He Kui didn't dare to voice any objections; he nodded and obediently picked up the cup to drink.

The tea was good; after just one sip, He Kui guessed it was imported from East Asia.

"How is your recent research, Councilor He?"

"Very smooth."

"I see; make sure to take care of yourself."

Renoya spoke in a tone of concern for her junior.

"Yes."

"So, what brings you here today, Councilor He?"

"I have some important matters I want to discuss with you and Chairman Patrick."

"Me?"

Renoya's expression turned slightly strange upon hearing He Kui's words.

But she quickly thought of something.

"Is it about agriculture? If I remember correctly, your parents are also involved in agriculture, right?"

As one of the few councilors in PLANT, Renoya was aware of He Kui's background.

With just a little thought, she connected the dots. However, she didn't think He Kui's research in agriculture was particularly strong; she merely assumed his parents had made some minor progress in the field.

But to come to them because of that seemed a bit of an overreaction, didn't it?

"Yes."

He Kui lowered his gaze and replied.

"Is that so?"

Seeing He Kui's determined expression, Renoya felt a bit uncertain; after all, he didn't seem like the type to exaggerate.

And there was no benefit in doing so.

Thinking this, Renoya chatted with him for a while, and soon Patrick finally entered the reception room.

"Sorry, I got delayed with matters on Earth."

"You've worked hard."

At this point, He Kui had already stood up.

"So, what is it you wanted to discuss with us?"

After indicating for him to sit down, Patrick immediately asked.

He certainly looked quite busy.

He didn't even bother with pleasantries.

Of course, a chairman didn't need to exchange pleasantries with an ordinary councilor; even ordinary councilors wouldn't have the chance to meet him privately.

"Well, we happened to make some discoveries in our research on the Hydroponic Pods."

As He Kui spoke, he transmitted the recent research findings to the computer screen on the table in front of them.

Patrick looked at the data with a hint of curiosity, and soon he became engrossed. With Renoya present, he was somewhat knowledgeable about agriculture.

As he examined the data before him, he had some vague guesses but wasn't quite sure.

Could it be? No matter how strong He Kui was, he couldn't have succeeded in

agricultural research while also developing Mobile Suits, could he?

Nanotechnology was barely within the same field, but agriculture... In surprise, he glanced at Renoya.
