Chapter 532 - Chapter 532: They Won’t Let You Go

As he observed the ongoing battle, He Kui effortlessly used nanoparticles to disable the three M1 Astrays in front of him.

At the same time, his Mobile Suit agilely dodged the beams fired from the Blitz units surrounding him.

"There are too many people here, He Kui," Iron Wall said as the magnetic Yuu Shield on his custom GAT-X unfolded, helping to block the incoming attacks for the group.

Meanwhile, the Thunderstrike Backpack on Lika's Mobile Suit continuously sniped the distant units.

"Yeah…"

He had thought that having these three Mobile Suits would be more than enough.

He hadn't expected the enemy to deploy four Blitz units at once.

Adding the four from earlier, that made eight in total.

The resources of the library were truly exaggerated, managing to mass-produce the Blitz.

Of course, considering the clan behind it had always stood with the major families, their resources were undoubtedly abundant.

Although the four units were only at the level of ordinary Red Uniform pilots, the Mirage particles allowed them to remain invisible, and the siblings worked together seamlessly.

Even with He Kui's radar, accurately tracking them was still quite challenging.

"He Kui, the Orb forces from Mendel have appeared," Shihe, who was piloting the Aegis, reported over the comms.

"There are ten Astrays and three units similar to the Strike."

"However, they're trying to disengage from the battlefield, but Creuset has them pinned down."

Shihe sounded helpless.

Upon hearing this, He Kui's expression remained calm.

Creuset knew his capabilities. Little Bird couldn't penetrate the Blitz's armor, and their elusive movements made it impossible for his Aegis and Little Bird to get close.

But he hadn't expected that his Liberator wasn't on the flagship.

"I'm fine here."

"Shihe, if you get a chance while they're moving, try to assist them."

He Kui thought for a moment before speaking.

"Understood."

"Be careful too."

Shihe frowned. Although she wanted to maneuver the Aegis away, she ultimately stayed in place on standby after hearing He Kui's words.

"Don't worry."

The Yuu Shield was equipped with a Neutron Jammer. Unless it was directly hit by a Positron Cannon, it couldn't be breached.

It was also fortunate that they hadn't hypnotized Kisaaka.

Otherwise, if they fired a Positron Cannon from the Kusanagi here, he would truly be in danger.

From this, it seemed the hypnosis had limitations? As he pondered, He Kui's hands continued to move swiftly.

"Iron Wall, follow me. Once we get close, my nanoparticles can disable them directly."

He Kui's Liberator inherently countered Mirage particles, but it couldn't control them from too far away.

As long as the three of them remained cautious, their combat team could navigate through this area with ease.

Otherwise, why would they have tried to destroy the Liberator first?

Unfortunately, they hadn't succeeded.

"No problem, but be careful when they get close."

"I know."

The Yuu Shield also needed to return to the Backpack for recharging; it wasn't without weaknesses.

However, He Kui understood the Yuu Shield's data better than anyone.

He could minimize the side effects of this weakness.

"Let's begin."

As He Kui spoke, the Liberator's thrusters activated at full power.

The Liberator itself was a lightweight Mobile Suit.

The outer armor was made of PS Armor, while the internal frame was constructed from Nym alloy. Coupled with the nano Backpack equipped with four large thrusters and the Mobile Suit's own power, it now shot forward like an arrow, breaking through one side of the encirclement.

In theory, the formation should have adjusted according to He Kui's movements to ensure he remained within the encirclement. However, He Kui's speed was simply too fast, and he flew in a straight line. With the Yuu Shield in place, He Kui didn't need to worry about the beams fired from all directions by the Blitz units.

The others, however, were not so fortunate.

In the distance, Lika continued to fire her sniper rifle relentlessly, forcing them to avoid speeding up in a straight line. They had to reserve the energy of their other thrusters at all times to be ready to dodge.

In this situation of one side gaining while the other lost, He Kui quickly reached the edge of the encirclement.

"Sorry, you can rest here for a while," He Kui laughed over the laser communication.

"What!?" A girl's shocked voice came through the communication.

The Liberator raised its hand, and like a miracle, the Blitz units, under the powerful EMP effect, ignored all defenses of the Mobile Suits and fell silent.

Soon, using the EMP, He Kui disabled the Blitz units one by one.

"He Kui, this is really convenient, and you don't even have to kill anyone," Iron Wall said, looking at He Kui with admiration.

In his mind, this non-lethal weapon was likely created because of He Kui's pacifist nature as a researcher.

Of course, in reality, He Kui didn't have much of such thoughts.

Whether to kill or not depended on the benefits—that's just how it was in this era. However, if he could avoid killing and it didn't threaten him, He Kui wouldn't kill. He wasn't a bloodthirsty person by nature.

"Right," He Kui chuckled. Seeing that the situation here was resolved, he contacted Shihe again.

"I'm done here. How about your side?"

"They're still being held back."

"I'll head over now."

"You're coming personally?" Shihe's tone rose slightly in surprise.

"Yeah, there's still my backdoor on the Oracle. There's a chance to catch him."

Although He Kui was cautious, with so many cards in hand, he could afford to take a risk. Otherwise, being chased by Creuset every day would be too troublesome.

Who knows what would happen if Creuset teamed up with that ambiguous Newtype faction behind them.

"Besides, I'll just use the Thunderstrike Backpack to take potshots."

The Thunderstrike Backpack was right here, and he could use it.

"Alright, here's the information from that side."

As Shi spoke, an image of Mendel appeared on He Kui's screen. Over there, the battle was in full swing.

Despite the reinforcements, Kira and Mu still couldn't retreat.

Just as He Kui was about to connect to the Thunderstrike Backpack separated from Lika, he noticed that Creuset and the others suddenly changed their tactics.

They no longer seemed intent on holding back Kira and Mu but instead appeared to be preparing to retreat.

"He Kui, you're here, aren't you?"

"You escaped again, but they won't let you go," Creuset sneered before leaving the area surrounded by numerous Blitz units, along with the Rebuild.

"."

He Kui's lips twitched slightly at Creuset's words, unsure whether they were a reminder or a provocation.

However, if they truly were beings that surpassed humanity, it was understandable that they wouldn't let him off the hook.

After all, his technology for treating Clones could also bring these Newtypes back down to earth.

Any creator would be afraid of that, wouldn't they?

If Dr. Xiang knew that he could revert Kira, whom he had painstakingly modified, back into an ordinary person, he would surely roll up his sleeves and fight him to the death.

It seemed there were still many unresolved issues. He could only hope they would reach a ceasefire agreement soon, so that at least on the surface, neither side would have a reason to attack the other.

Of course, that was only on the surface.
