A lot had happened in these three days.
On the Land of Origin's side, Michael had finally secured full control over Thornvale.
The clean-up and repairs were no longer just ideas. They were already being set in motion.
Roads were patched, walls reinforced, and the basics of governance reshaped under his hand.
Yet Michael knew this was only the beginning. To truly ease the burden on his citizens, he would eventually need to purchase supplies from Aurora and funnel them into Thornvale.
For now, though, his focus remained simple and that was to strengthen the foundation first.
If Thornvale's base was solid, then everything else would follow more easily. Even the wolves prowling outside his borders could wait until his house was in proper order.
In Aurora, life was quieter, at least, in theory.
