Seeing the day of the recruitment assessment approaching, Wan Chu'er started to feel uneasy.
In this morning's training, Wan Chu'er suddenly went berserk, lunging at Li Shan over and over again, only to be continuously driven back by him.
In her eyes, Li Shan seemed to be a target, or rather, a mountain. If she could get over it, she could keep moving forward; if not... if not, perhaps she would have an excuse... to retreat?
Once again, Wan Chu'er was thrown to the ground by Li Shan with an over-the-shoulder throw, shook her head, and walked away.

Hearing the sound of the door, Wan Chu'er lay on the ground, feeling as if all her strength had been sucked out of her. She spaced out, staring at the ceiling, wanting to think about nothing.
