These two men were from the God Slaying Sect and were sent by Mu Qian's faction to protect Wen Jiaren and her son.
Upon confirming that this was the car Wen Jiaren was driving, both men panicked. They stood frozen in place for about ten seconds before running towards the front of the car. Despite the explosion, they hoped to find human remains in the debris and inside the burning car to determine the fate of Wen Jiaren and Mu Xiao.
Unfortunately, they soon saw two charred bodies among the raging flames.
