Before diving into the sea, the father and son exchanged a knowing glance.
After Mu Qian and Mu Xiao went into the water, they searched for Wen Jiaren. Once they found her, Mu Xiao led the way, while Mu Qian pressed the signal device on his waist. The people lurking nearby received the signal and started swimming towards them.
Mu Xiao didn't get too close, lingering where Wen Jiaren could see him, waiting for her to notice the father and son.
Soon, as Mu Xiao wished, Wen Jiaren noticed him, amazed by the little kid's perfect swimming form. She hesitated but ultimately didn't swim over. Just as she was planning to go in another direction, she saw someone behind Mu Qian taking out a gun and aiming it at him.
Wen Jiaren's face changed dramatically, and she shouted loudly, "Watch out."
But in the water, her voice couldn't travel far, only making bubbling sounds.
