With eyes raised, Meng Jingyi stared at Ding Chen Tai. A few seconds later, she shook her head, "Don't waste everyone's time."
She had made up her mind. Now she just wanted to end it quickly, to not be tormented by the indecision to keep or discard, and simply end everything, stay away from this man. Perhaps if she never sees him again, there won't be any pain, and he will fade from memory.
Ding Chen Tai said nothing more, and the nurse took Meng Jingyi for a pre-operative check. The pregnancy results came out quickly, and with the ultrasound slip in Ding Chen Tai's hand, he believed for the first time that Meng Jingyi was indeed pregnant—only one and a half months along, with just a dot visible on the ultrasound.
While Meng Jingyi continued with other tests, Dr. Kang asked Ding Chen Tai, "Mr. Ding, now to confirm again, is the child to be kept or terminated?"
