Yiguang was waiting for her in the library with the two kids and had practically developed a crick in his neck.
Seeing the looks on their faces, Yang PeiMin couldn't help but laugh, "Sorry, I'm late."
The two kids rushed over and hugged her thighs, "Auntie, where did you go? We've already read so many comic books, and you still hadn't come back."
Yang PeiMin patted their little heads, "Are you hungry?" she asked them, then looked up at Shen Yiguang.
Shen Yiguang had already stood up, took the kids, and said, "Let's go, it's getting late."
Yang PeiMin then packed up a bunch of dumplings, buns, and pastries from a nearby restaurant, along with some snacks, and called them over to hurry to a small park for a picnic.
The kids were thrilled. After eating their fill, Yang PeiMin sat with Shen Yizhang on a stone bench and watched the little sisters play. She commented, "Look how happy they are playing. They usually don't get to go out like this. The scenery here is really nice."
