Zhao ManCang, upon learning that Shen Yiguang had returned, decided to drop by and have a chat with him today, to catch up on their brotherly bond.
Early in the morning, he planned to first clear the snow in the courtyard and haul it to the field outside. On his way back, he would swing by the Shen family's place. However, as he was about to leave his own yard, he saw Shen Yiguang coming over.
He immediately smiled, thinking that was just like his brother, always on the same page. It seemed the young man hadn't forgotten about him either.
"Morning, was just about to look for you. You read my mind. So, what do you think? Should we sit at my place or yours?"
Shen Yiguang: "Let's walk over to the grain field."
Zhao ManCang glanced at the sky and tightened his cotton coat, feeling that the day seemed to have gotten colder, and couldn't help but mutter, "It's still warmer inside."
"Let's go, it's not convenient to talk at home."
