The wedding was hurried, and Second Aunt Yang even gave away a sewing machine as part of the dowry. However, the bridegroom's side didn't offer anything particularly impressive. Overall, the wedding was very low-key, which didn't seem to match Second Aunt Yang's showy nature at all.
