Minmin's belly during the first three months wasn't very noticeable, possibly because she wore more clothes in the winter which hid the size, but as April arrived and she switched to lighter clothing, her belly at nearly four months looked as big as someone else's at six or seven months.
She immediately began to worry. Her first pregnancy had also looked bigger than others', and it had already been difficult to deliver then. Now, this time her belly seemed even larger than when she had been four months pregnant with Lele; one could only imagine how big it would get by the time she was ready to give birth.
Minmin reminisced about her first childbirth, feeling as if she had crossed over from death's door, and it terrified her to think about it now. If it wasn't for the desire for a cute daughter, she really wouldn't want to risk a second pregnancy, especially if it turned out to be another son, then she wouldn't want to get pregnant again.
