"I am your wife, what could be more important than me? Didn't you check your phone? In this day and age when no one is without their phone, I called you so many times, and it's been over half an hour, but you didn't call me back even once."
"You didn't even send me a message. Are you really not afraid that something happened to me? Am I that unimportant to you?"
Lu Yunlan, heartbroken, picked up her phone to show Chen Wenzhou the many calls she had made to him.
"I knew you wouldn't have any emergencies; if you did, you wouldn't have had the time to make all those calls to me."
Chen Wenzhou's tone remained indifferent as he glanced at Lu Yunlan's expression and stepped toward the front door. Lu Yunlan, in a fit of anger, raised her hand and blocked his way.
"What do you mean by that? Are you saying I called you so many times because I had nothing better to do?"
