The car rolled to a stop in front of the massive mall, its sleek glass façade reflecting the afternoon sunlight. The men immediately stepped down to open the door for Lily.
As soon as they touched the ground, Maria nearly gasped. "Lily… why are we here?" she whispered, glancing around in awe.
"To buy clothes. Don't worry, I'll cover everything—just pick whatever you like," Lily replied with a calm, gentle smile.
Maria's eyes widened. "Could Lily be from a wealthy family but just keeping a low profile?" she wondered, admiration rising in her chest. She glanced at her friend again. "She's changed so much from before…"
"But… things here are really expensive," Maria murmured, hesitation evident in her tone.
Lily fixed her with a steady look before stepping inside. "Just get what you want," she instructed, moving toward the left side where the latest seasonal collections were displayed.
