"Shit! Shit Shit! Not him!" Bonny squirmed and pulled at his own hair as they all slowly left the elevator. The frigid sub zero temperature immediately impacting their bodies in a rush of chills. Their skin bumping into goose flesh. The only ones that seemed to be okay were Diva, Hora and Danny.
"Second Gear…" Leroy muttered to himself as he flexed a few times to activate the transformation. Feeling the heat fill his body, and the steam cloud around him erupt like a smoke stack
"Hold still everyone. He's not moving…" Diva rose her hand up and stopped the other from moving closer. "I have something for the cold."
"Yeah Like what?" He Bonney snaps to the side to look, his eyes still locked on the warden in the distance. He could see the occasional breaths coming from the man that stood nearly 20 feet tall. Like large gusts of smoke from his mouth. There was a visible movement to his shoulders as he breathed
"My Chem Chem Fruit allows me to inject Chemicals, Or Absorb them via my finger tips. I'll Inject you with a Mix of Capsaicin, DNP, and an Antifreeze Protein that'll prevent ice crystals from forming in your muscles. Hora over there already has it. To an extreme. I have Haki. And Riff is wearing that big ass coat."
Leroy felt a rush of heat going over his body. More so than before. He could feel the sweat increase in production. That scent of sweat and musk filling the air.
One by one each of them felt the same sensation covering their bodies. "Whats Haki?" Leroy said. Bonney gave a strange look to him almost as if he knew what it was, but Diva spoke first "You've gotten this far and don't know what it is? Thats like being a boxer and not knowing how to properly ball your fist!"
"No matter. Its not unheard of especially in the first half. Its a force of will and spirit. I'll explain the rest later. Me, Hora, and Riff can use it. And use it to protect our bodies from the temperature. If I get the chance I'll explain the rest later…"
"Noted…" Leroy began to think about just what that would mean. Was it related to other unexplained things he'd seen?
With her hands together. Danny seemed to be very concentrated as she focuses her power. Then reaching under her shirt, she pulls out a large combat knife! Handing it to Quinn, she blows into the bottom of it. And the entire shape of the weapon inflates to a large sword length sharp blade. Its handle stayed its typical size while the inflated front stretch for over 3 feet
Riff loaded up a large electromagnetic rifle that shot a beam at 48% the Speed of Light in a concentrated beam of plasma. Using a myriad of parts and a prototype that had been brought to the prison by none other that the Warden in front of them…
"Everyone ready?" Diva asked. Nods came. And even Bonney who quivered in his own boots said "Fuck it! If the cold won't kill us now it might as well be him!"
"Then lets not keep the man waiting…" Leroy said. His resolve strengthened by the fact they were at the lowest level. Even now, the Ferry Union were already pass Erebus and Oceanus.
Right now. Dozens of Ferry Union members were breaking out members and devil fruit users that were being water boarded in the chambers that hung above the chasm of water which filtered in water from the outside. Infant sea kings swimming in the waters below. Many of the prisoners that were being fished from the waters were kept locked to the bottom of the ocean. Connected to a oxygenator, keeping them alive but in a perpetual sense of drowning and weakness…Their minds forcing them to wakefulness after days of forced sleep only for their lack of energy to send them back into the depths of sleep again
The Ferry Union members fired off rounds from their M1 Rifles, 45 Pistols, and others various weapons. Some bludgeoning, others stabbing. All together many forms of the prison guards were being tossed over the ledge of the diving board-esque walk ways and cat walks that stopped for the primary purpose of tossing and chucking prisoners into the murky depths below
Many hit the water. Others slammed against the rail with horrifying cracks of bones snapping. Many more were quickly devoured by Infant Sea Kings, as infants will primarily predate on the surface to learn how to properly ambush when their far larger and can sit far below the waves and shoot to the surface
All the while. The Quintet walk.
Feet crunching into the snow beneath them. The sound of ice crystals shattering in that oh so familiar sharp high octave brief ringing.
"Guys…" Riff Raff asked, a quiver in his voice "Yeah…"
With each stride as they walked forward. Dante met their stride with long, heavy foot falls that the more sensitive of the quintet could feel in the ground. As they got closer and closer. They could see the attire he wore in full
It was a dark grey overcoat. Much like the coats that the other guards wore, but much larger and of considerable heft to symbolize his authority to the Prison as its literal top dog. It was double buttoned, with two rows of 3 golden buttons on each side. His collar was stuck up into a large Medici collar like fashion similar to how one would flick the collar of a shirt up into a dramatic flared piece
On his shoulders was a large pauldron. A silver blue tinted metal that had the visage similar to a Crenellation. Rising Merlons, and Dropping Crenels. 14 in total. On the left shoulder, a flowing piece of dark near black blue fabric flapped in the wind. A Smaller piece of a minor bar that served as another pauldron holding it down
A Belt wrapped around his waist. Large buckle. Gloves a dark blue that look made for combat. Hard knuckles.
The black boots crunched. And second by second that grimace of a face covered by the helmet they'd once seen on the plan, snarled with grit teeth…Stubble across his cleft chin…
Finally. The Quintet stood mere meters away as that gravely voice of the warden they'd once heard covered by static boomed in their ears!
"Never in the 600 Year history of this prison, has a Mass Escape attempt occurred. There have been what could be considered attempts! But all were crushed by my predecessors with efficiency, and proper judgment! And now I shall do the same as Head Warden of Imperious Styx!"
"If you come quietly. I can ensure that you will be granted a swift death! But please…Do Resist…"
