"Where is Ares, Zane?" Angel asked him, forcing herself not to panic. "And don't lie to me," she added as he opened his mouth to speak.
"Look, I wasn't supposed to tell you this, as per his and my father's request. Anyway, he's with your father," he said.
"What?!" She screamed, unable to hold that one in.
"That was the only way we could get access to the tower. With your father away, it would be easier to get in."
"You should have told me. I asked you because I didn't believe Chloe was telling me the truth. You said you didn't know. What is he doing with my father?! Oh my God! Nadia said he came to pick up darling from her room. I know things are going to get really dangerous!" She began to tap her toes restlessly?
"Darling?" Zane asked, completely lost on what that was.
"His gun," she explained in simple words.
"Ohhhh. Guns usually mean real business. Still, I don't think you should worry though. Father will be with him shortly. They'll be fine."
