Ares dismissed the others from the room, so he could talk alone with Tony.
He offered to send a maid in to bring him drinks, but Tony wasn't having it. He just wanted to dive straight to business.
"Leonardo is on the run. If he's out of the country, it's going to be hard for the feds to nail him," he said, pacing back and forth instead of sitting.
"Well it's in their hands now, isn't it? We've done our part." Ares shrugged.
Tony paused, and turned. "Don't be naive, Ares. You think he really plans on just leaving your fate to the decision of the feds? That sneaky rat always has a plan B. In all of this madness, I fear for your woman and your daughter. He probably has seen how much you care about them. Knowing that's the best way to hurt you, he won't spare them."
Ares took a deep breath. "Then they won't be leaving Kolasi. At least not until he has been caught."
"And you think it's impossible for him to have an inside person to do his dirty job?" He lifted a brow.
