They didn't come.
They didn't come. They didn't come. The League of Villains didn't come. Why didn't they come?!??
What happened? What happened? I'm sure I remember the dates correctly. My memory was impeccable. Once I realized what world I was in, I wrote down everything I could remember, absolutely everything. I memorized everything and stored it in the most remote corner of my room.
My underwear drawer. Oddly enough, it was a great place that my mom and the girls wouldn't look at. And if they did, they'd only see several notebooks, with names changed and lots of misspelled lesbian fanfiction between the pages.
So no one would read that. maybe.
The point is, the third day should be the League of Villains raid, where was Muscular? Dabi? Toga? and the others!? In fact, I was almost sure they should arrive the day before.
On the night of the second day, the day I unlocked my other shikigami, we had to prepare the meal ourselves. I didn't even bother preparing dinner with the help of the others. At that moment, I was still happy for my shikigami.
But I kept my observation haki circling the entire forest at all times to see if I could detect any of them. That didn't happen. So I simply went to sleep and prepared for the third day.
Just as on the second day, we trained extensively on our Quirks throughout the day, or at least I did, getting used to my new Shikigami. I even tried fusing them, which worked considerably.
It turns out it was a bad idea to merge rabbit and deer. Well, I mean, the rabbits grew antlers like deer and were capable of healing, even if they multiplied. Each rabbit was capable of healing much less than the deer, yes, but the bruises, fatigue, and stress from training were easy to cure.
The point is, Aizawa forced me to give each student a deer rabbit to constantly heal them and force them to work even harder. And so, I earned the collective hatred of both classes. Thanks, Aizawa.
So everything went well. Nightfall arrived. Now it was time for the Wild Wild Pussycats Interclass Bravery Challenge. The moment it began, I maintained my Observation Haki over the entire forest and beyond.
I wasn't being boastful, but my observation haki extended for kilometers; circling the entire forest was stupidly easy. But nothing... absolutely nothing. I could only sense the animals.
I even let my rabbits, Nue and Orochi, which, it turns out, if I can force it to have an end and come out of my shadows, spread out through the forest looking for any anomalies. I even placed them near Ragdoll to prevent AFO from kidnapping her and taking over the Search quirk.
A quirk capable of revealing the weaknesses of others? It was too dangerous for AFO to have, so it was one of the things she had to avoid at all costs.
But nothing happened. I couldn't sense anyone else around, and our class was already over halfway through, and I was getting desperate.
I was so tense, trying to react at any moment and give everyone a quick warning, that even the others noticed! What's worse, they thought I was afraid of the test of courage, the ignominy, gentlemen, the ignominy!!
"I really didn't know you were afraid of ghosts, Izumi," Azula said, almost amusedly. My eye twitched slightly. The groups had formed entirely at random.
There are 18 of us in Class 1A, and Sona and Ravel were the only ones who hadn't passed the final practical exam. So, they were doing their tutoring classes with Aizawa and some of the other students from Class B.
Half of the groups had already entered the forest, and I was waiting for my turn, which had been one of the last.
"I'm not afraid," I said through gritted teeth. Azula dared to laugh.
"Whatever you say, Izumi, you're more tense than I've ever seen you," Azula said while laughing.
"I'm not afraid," I repeated as I closed my eyes. Azula laughed again.
"It's okay to be afraid, Izumi. I'll protect you." Azula said, trying to sound chivalrous, but I could hear the mocking undertone in her voice. I glared at her, and she smiled even wider.
"I'm. not. scared." I repeated to myself slowly. Azula's smile only grew wider.
"It's not okay to lie, Izumi. You're in a safe place, we'll love you even if you're afraid of ghosts." Azula said mockingly, I glared at her. Why did the rune stone give me my shadows and not a lethal glare to kill Azula? What a disappointment. "Behind you!!" I tensed completely at Azula's scream.
My swords emerged from my shadows. I turned and gripped them tightly. I looked... at the trees. There was nothing. Then Azula's laughter began. I gritted my teeth as I closed my eyes.
The ignominy! I could hear the laughter of the other girls who were still waiting for their turn to enter. Azula had paired up with Kyoka. There was also Midoriya, who was with Momo, and Pixie-Bob, the guide, was laughing! And I was paired up with -
"d-don't worry! I'll protect you in the forest! " said Yunyun, my partner, with a huge, innocent smile. She said it with such determination that she wasn't even joking around like Azula; she meant it completely. I closed my eyes once more as I dropped my swords into my shadows once more.
"Go to hell," I said in Azula's direction, glaring at her. She just laughed petulantly.
"All right, it's time for the seventh pair of kittens!" said Pixie-Bobo happily. I snorted, wrapped my arm around Yunyun's arm, and dragged her to the entrance of the forest.
"Come on, Yunyun, let's stay away from bad company." I snorted as we walked away.
"Wait! It's not your turn! It was the kitten-Azula and kitten-Kyouka pair's turn !" Pixie -Bob exclaimed, I ignored her and continued walking.
"Yeah? Well, let them suck the lemon." I said out loud as I dragged Yunyun.
"S-sorry!" Yunyun squealed in the pro heroine's direction. I only heard Azula's loud laughter. I clicked my tongue before sighing.
"Lead the way, Yunyun. I'll get lost," I said once we were far enough away. Yunyun looked at me for a few seconds before breaking into a broad smile.
"Yes! Leave it to me! " Yunyun chirped as she began to take the lead. Yunyun tried to look brave, but every shout she heard from our classmates made her tremble slightly, I didn't say anything.
Even when the others from Class B started showing up to scare us, I could actually sense them with my Haki, so none of them took me by surprise. Although I'd certainly give them points for their effort, they were really doing their best.
Yunyun, on the other hand, was completely pale, startled by every student, but to my surprise, she never shouted; instead, she drowned them all out and kept standing in front of me, taking her task of 'protecting' me completely seriously.
It was adorable. I laughed lightly and looked away so Yunyun wouldn't see it.
"d-don't w-worry! I-I'll protect you! " Yunyun tried bravely, misunderstanding my trembling. I bit my lip. This girl was a cinnamon roll!
I sighed as I followed Yunyun through the forest. Still fully alert. I had never expected to wish the villains would attack us quickly, so this would be over.
------
"So... ghosts?" Ruby asked with a huge smile once we finished the bravery challenge and finished scaring Class B. Or well, the others. Apparently, there was an agreement among the others that it was a horrible idea to let me enter the forest at night. It was just tempting fate to get lost.
"I'm not afraid of ghosts," he said, already annoyed by the situation.
"Actually, over a year, and it's the first time I've heard of it," Taylor said with a mocking smile.
"So it wasn't as perfect as you're letting on, that's good to know," Jinx said with a condescending smile.
"Come on, Miyamura, there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone's afraid of something," Kyoka mocked playfully. I glared at her.
"That's adorable," Asada mocked with a smirk.
"I'm not afraid," I repeated for what felt like the umpteenth time.
"Girls, stop bothering Miyamura with your fear of ghosts; he's a boy," Momo said, all repressive, but with a smile on her face. My eye twitched slightly.
"Heh, pathetic." Bakugou mocked. My eye twitched harder.
" Boooo!!" Suddenly, two people I identified as Ashido and Hagakure appeared with sheets on them while waving their hands. Laughter arose once again.
Okay, enough.
Out of nowhere, my shadow exploded, and hundreds of rabbits came out of my shadows and started squashing everyone else. I ignored the muffled sounds and scuffling as my rabbits began to fight everyone.
Damn League of Villains, I'll get paid once they show up.

They did not appear.
The day ended, and we all went to sleep. That is, I didn't; I couldn't sleep a wink all night. I saw how the day dawned without any problems and without any villainous attack on the horizon.
It's like they don't know... where we are...
I let out a loud groan in the middle of the training field as I crouched down and slapped my hand against my face.
It didn't even occur to me that they didn't know where we were, for the love of-
Does that mean there were no traitors in UA? They didn't have any informants in either class who could tell them our position? Is that why? I went to so much trouble, and it turns out I missed the most obvious thing?
Yuga Aoyama was the traitor in canon. He definitely wasn't in the Hero and Hunter classes, but I didn't think to look up whether he was in UA's general courses or some other department, or even if we had another traitor.
But it seemed not. With a sigh, I relaxed considerably and began to dance once more. This time, it's much less tense, the first time in hours.
Now that there was no traitor, there was much to consider. Besides, I was sure that if AFO was all she could be, she'd be sure to find us even in the middle of the forest. However, since the League wasn't present, there were significant doubts.
Did that mean the Kamino incident wouldn't happen? I didn't know if that was good or bad. On the one hand, the incident had resulted in many deaths and injuries, but on the other, I had no idea what AFO was planning.
There were already numerous problems with the arrival of Arthur Watts and Merlot on the AFO payroll, and adding to that the fact that I didn't know what AFO was planning would make everything much more perilous.
There wasn't much I could do. There was no choice but to be reactive in AFO's plans, which wasn't the best idea, but it's not like I had any other options. Mentioning everything to Aizawa, All Might, or Nezu was a bad idea; it would raise a lot of questions, especially since I didn't even know what information about AFO and canon remained.
Once again, everything was going on. With a final breath, I focused on training. I could try out the Totality versions of my shikigami. Now that I might not need my shikigami to fight villains, I could spare some of them and sacrifice them, and see how the powers are passed down from one shikigami to another.
I was missing Tiger Funeral for Agito, but maybe Piercing Ox or Rabbit Escape can help create something similar.
While fusions helped my shikigamis to be more adaptable and varied, like my deer rabbits, they were not as good as usual, simple shikigamis.
The Deer Rabbit couldn't multiply as much as Rabbit Escape and couldn't heal as well as Round Deer. But the ability to heal several at once without needing to be in contact with just Round Deer was excellent.
On the contrary, if I were able to create a Totality, by sacrificing Round Deer or Rabbit Escape and pushing it to the other, the sacrifice would push them to a new, higher level in exchange for not being able to use the sacrificed shikigami for a day.
From what I could see, I had discovered something while looking at my shikigami the last few days, performing a Totality: Merged Beast. The new shikigami would last all day, or even be able to push it so that they stay fused for longer, but that would temporarily disable the sacrificed shikigami until it breaks the Totality.
Unlike if I performed a Totality on myself, acquiring my shikigami's powers would only last for hours within my body, allowing me to use them before I lost them. Then, more hours would pass until my Shikigami would reform once more.
It would be worth it in certain circumstances, and I didn't want to have my shikigami blocked in case the League of Villains attacked, but... if they weren't going to attack anymore, maybe it would be worth a try.
At least I wouldn't miss Piercing Ox, Great Serpent, and Nue. Round Deer is still too precious under uncertainty, so I'd keep it for now.
But the Nue… I really wanted to see if I could recreate the full power of Thunder Breathing. Kaigaku, once he became a demon and gained power over lightning, greatly improved Thunder Breathing by adding it to his sword style, it was something I wanted to do.
yeah… I could do that.
Author's Notes : You thought it was the League of Villains raid, but no! It was me! A canon change!
Let's see how this all turns out!
