"Stop joking around, Maki being able to defeat us? The very thought is almost insulting." Naoka mocked once again. I rolled my eyes and glared at Naoka, who wore a very unpleasant, mocking smile. "Choosing Mai to fight would have been a better option, but even she would be a complete waste."
"Do you think they didn't try? Mai is completely pathetic, she's been studying at Shiketsu all this time, and she only reached Rank E. She knows her position in this Family, below everyone."
"And Maki? She's worse than trash. She can't awaken her Aura; she even has less than a normal person, a true G-Rank. She's complete garbage. Over a year at UA and she was only able to get into the General Studies department. She's not capable of getting into the Hero and Hunter Department, nor is she even capable of obtaining a Hunter License with those pathetic Aura levels of hers."
Naoka scoffed arrogantly, and I paused slightly.
Shiketsu and UA? What? If Maki decided to rebel and leave the Zenin Clan to study at UA, she wouldn't have any reason to be here. And Mai being at Shiketsu means she was also punished and forced to attend Shiketsu? Was she in the hero department too? I have no idea about the departmental structure at Shiketsu University.
And… more than a year, does that mean they're both sophomores?
Put those thoughts aside and look boredly at Naoka.
"Wow, you really like the sound of your own voice. Are you done yet? Do I really have to beat you up again? " I mocked Naoka dryly. "I wasn't even talking to you. The only ones who can complain are those two." I could see Naoka grit her teeth.
"Trash doesn't have the right to choose," Naoka spat furiously. "They'll do what their superiors tell them, that's how it works, and you... you'll learn your place." Naoka growled angrily, and I smiled mockingly at her.
"And who would force me? Certainly not you, you're not strong enough." I mocked condescendingly. Naoka's gaze turned murderous.
"You're too self-assured for a man. I'll give you that, but that's all you are, a man." Naoka spat.
"And yet, you still wouldn't be able to beat me, what does that say about you?" I said curtly, then turned away, ignoring her. "So, what do you say, do you accept?" I asked Maki and Mai, looking directly at them. I could hear Naoka start to speak, but her voice was quickly drowned out by someone else's.
"We will!" Maki said suddenly loudly with her chin up, I smiled slightly.
"What?! No- wait-" Mai tried to say hurriedly in a panic.
"And there you have it." I said to Naoka mockingly. She wasn't looking at me; she was staring intently at Maki. Then she disappeared and reappeared in front of the twins. Her hands grabbed Maki and Mai's hair at the same time.
Mai let out a pitiful moan as she grabbed Naoka's wrist to try and free herself, but to no avail. Her expression looked terrified. Maki, on the other hand, only raised her gaze even higher in defiance. She did nothing to free herself, she just stared intently at Naoka.
"Who gave you permission to speak, trash?" Naoka asked while pulling her hair even harder.
"Let them go." I said firmly, narrowing my eyes as I looked at Naoka.
"Don't interfere, Miyamura, I'm just... disciplining disrespectful members of the clan." Naoka said without even looking at me.
"People who have already agreed to be my fiancées are part of my family, they are under my protection, let them go immediately." I said dangerously, Naoka just looked at me lazily over her shoulder before smiling sadistically as she squeezed and pulled both of them roughly.
"Or what? You think I'm afraid of you, Miyamura? You think you've seen everything I'm capable of? Let's end this once and for all. Be a good man for once in your life, and accept whatever your superiors decide in silence. A man is more handsome when he's quiet." Naoka mocked. I stared at her without blinking before she sighed wearily.
"You know, I didn't want to do this, but I'm really fed up with you," I said emotionlessly. I let my shadow spread beneath my mother and began to absorb her. Mother didn't even move or seem surprised; she just sighed wearily as I stepped into my shadows, as if she knew it would all end like this, and perhaps, it did. "One last chance. Release them, now," I ordered, staring intently at Naoka. She glared back at me before breaking into a wide smile.
"...No." The instant those words left Naoka's mouth, I unleashed all my Conqueror's Haki. All the normal members of the Zenin Clan immediately fainted, with only a few exceptions. The main family members, and some exceptional clan members—those closest to the main family—were still conscious, as were Maki and Mai, whom I was protecting from my Haki.
My Haki pressed hard against Naoka, forcing her to bend slightly. I could see her grit her teeth in fury before she unleashed her own Conqueror's Haki.
And she wasn't the only one. I could sense two more Conqueror's Haki, Naomi's and Ougi Zenin's, although Naomi's was... quite passive, she didn't even seem to be trying to stop me, it seemed like she was only doing it out of obligation.
Even so, her Haki still clashed with mine. Three Conqueror's Haki within one family, they had the right to be arrogant. I could feel the three Haki trying to surpass me, and I just pushed mine even harder.
After sensing and fighting against All For One's Conqueror's Haki, this was almost a joke. My Haki was much stronger after that fight, so keeping up with three Conqueror's Haki was much easier, especially when one of them wasn't even trying.
The entire Zenin clan compound shook simultaneously due to the clash; the very air began to tremble from the collision of four Conqueror's Haki. Long black rays emerged from our clash, trailing across the entire inner courtyard and quickly shattering it.
By this point, the few remaining normal members of the clan had completely fainted, leaving only a handful. Jinko didn't seem to possess Conqueror's Haki, but she stood effortlessly, though her body was completely tense.
I ignored them and stared at Naoka.
"I see you have a very mistaken impression of your situation, Naoka Zenin." I said slowly as I began to walk slowly in her direction. I let Wado Ichimonji emerge from my shadows, gently placing my hand on the hilt, gripping it delicately and placing it between my teeth. Then Enma and Sandai Kitetsu appeared at my sides, and I held them firmly as I walked. "The Zenin Clan is alive because my Grandfather and I allow it."
"Do you think my grandfather couldn't have killed you all those years ago? Do you think he couldn't have killed you when he came here a few days ago? Do you think I can't kill you all right now? " I asked coldly. "The only reason they're alive is because they're not worth our time. We have better things to do than waste our time dealing with the fallout from your deaths."
"But that doesn't mean we won't if necessary, if they become truly troublesome, and right now, Naoka Zenin, you're a nuisance." I said coldly, my Conqueror's Haki growing stronger with each step I took closer to Naoka. I ignored the other members and focused entirely on her.
I let my Haki press down hard on her as my swords began to coat themselves in Armament Haki. Midway through, I felt something freeze me in mid-air. I saw two enormous eyes appear above me, paralyzing me. I spun around stiffly to see Ranta Zenin, completely drenched in sweat from the effort of staying conscious—or whatever her name is now that she's female.
"Stop— agh !" Ranta screamed, clutching her eyes—or where her eyes had been, now just a horizontal wound gushing blood. My sword was raised high after I'd unleashed a Haki-infused slash directly at her eyes, disabling her quirk. Her Paralyzing Gaze barely affected me, but it was still annoying. I turned my gaze back to Naoka.
Finally, I stood in front of Naoka and stared at her.
"Let them go." I repeated to myself, this time with the weight of my Conqueror's Haki behind my words. Naoka glared at me furiously but didn't move. I raised my hand to attack when I sensed several presences rapidly approaching me.
"Kiki Kyutoryu: Ashura"The words left my mouth, and immediately four more arms and two heads sprouted from my sides. Each sword took an attack; one blade clashed with a Haki-encased foot belonging to a tiny old woman—the female version of Chojuro, if I was right. Another of my swords easily parried an attack from a woman wielding a katana I didn't recognize at all, but who also used Haki to attack.
Two of my swords took the brunt of Jinko's Haki-infused fist to my right, while two others blocked Ougi's attack with the Split Soul Katana. Ougi's attack was by far the most dangerous. I could feel that sword slowly and easily piercing my Haki. I had to constantly reinforce it to prevent it from breaking through my defense.
I moved before anyone could react.
"Asura Sword- Drawing : Jest of the Dead," I spun my entire body, my nine swords deflecting the attacks of the five Zenin clan members. My body continued to spin as I attacked each of them at high speed. They all moved quickly to try to defend themselves. Even Naoka became serious enough to release Maki and Mai and coat her arms in Haki as she took the blow.
I didn't let them recover. Sun Breathing: Thirteenth Form! My entire body continued attacking as each sword transformed into one form after another, all at incredible speed. Hundreds of attacks rained down on the Zenin clan members before they could even retreat. Chojuro and the other woman whose name I didn't know fell instantly. Large gashes appeared on their bodies as I pierced their auras with my Haki.
Ougi and Jinko were the most difficult, but even so, they were unable to get away quickly enough or defend themselves against hundreds of attacks coming from different angles. Ougi ended up with a huge wound that ran from her shoulder to her hip, while Jinko ended up with a sword stuck in the top of her hip, although it had not hit any organs.
Finally, I focused entirely on Naoka. She maximized her initial speed before activating her quirk to increase it even further. My swords clashed against her fists hundreds of times in a fraction of a second. She tried to increase her speed even more, but I didn't let her. One of my swords struck in the path of Naoka's body.
With her trajectory blocked, her body froze thanks to the recoil of her quirk. My attacks continued to rain down on her. I concentrated hundreds of blows on the same spot. Naoka tried to defend herself, but I could feel her using all her Armament Haki to resist the blows, but finally my attacks pierced her defenses.
Both of Naoka's hands fell to the ground, and she let out a pitiful whimper. I raised my swords high, preparing to attack again. I saw Chojuro slam her hands into the ground; I felt it tremble. I saw Ougi engulf the Split Soul Katana in flames as the temperature began to rise rapidly. I saw Jinko raise her fist, and hundreds of energy fists completely covered the sky, all coated in Haki.
Even so, I didn't back down, I pushed my haki to full power and prepared to receive all the blows.
"Enough." We all stopped rigidly, even the members of the Zenin clan stopped, the earth stopped trembling, the ambient temperature quickly returned to normal and the fists began to disappear, me tooI paused for a few moments to watch Naomi Zenin appear in front of her daughter, but even so, I didn't lower my guard; my Haki was still activated, as was that of all the other clan members.
I narrowed my eyes in her direction.
"You think you can stop me? Do you think you're strong enough to do it? " I asked coldly. Naomi just snorted and sneered amusedly.
"Of course not, I know the limits of my old bones." Naomi scoffed, and I raised an eyebrow.
"So, how do you plan to stop me?" I asked emotionlessly. Naomi just looked at me.
"You said it yourself, we're more trouble dead. You can kill us all here without any problem, even if we all attack together, but I'm not so careless as to not have several insurance policies, especially against your fiancées." Naomi said with a shrug.
"You know that just makes me want to kill you even more, right? " I asked dryly. Naomi burst out laughing.
"But you won't. You're protective of them, something that's unfortunately easy to use against you," Naomi said with a wide smile. I narrowed my eyes at her. "But I'll tell you this: sheathe your swords, and I'll accept your deal."
"From now on, you will be betrothed to Maki and Mai Zenin, daughters of Ougi Zenin. Maki will have a year and a half to complete her training, until she graduates from UA. At that time, she will come to the Zenin clan and fight against any member of the clan who wants to challenge her for the title of Heir of the clan."
"If she wins, I will pass on the leadership of the Zenin clan to her; if she loses, you and the three of you will return to serve the Zenin clan, and you will all obey the new clan leader regardless of her demands. But I will not ask you to marry her. You can remain married to Maki and Mai if you prefer, as long as you also maintain your engagement and future marriage to the Rembran girl."
"Furthermore, to sweeten the deal, I will erase and undo all plans directed at your other fiancées; no one from the Zenin clan will attempt to touch them while our agreement lasts."
"What do you think?" Naomi asked with a wide smile. I frowned.
"Too good to be true," I said dryly. "And I wouldn't trust you about that last bit. Your daughter seems intent on killing me at any moment; I have no doubt she'd attack my fiancées to get to me." I said dryly as I looked at Naoka, who was glaring at me murderously while her aura stopped the bleeding from her cut hands.
"Maybe yes, maybe no, you have no choice but to trust us," Naomi said, shrugging. I sighed as I lowered my swords.
"And that's not going to happen at all, and yes, I have options, I can still kill them all." I said simply.
"Your trust issues aren't my problem, and yes, you could kill us all, but you won't, because you prefer to protect your women," Naomi said brazenly. I snorted dryly and dropped my swords back into their shadows.
"You're lucky, Naomi Zenin. You're right, I would do it for my fiancées, but just as I'm taking a step back right now, I promise you that if there's any trouble with my fiancées, and I find that the Zenin clan is behind it, I won't hesitate to come back and kill them all, no matter the consequences." I said coldly, and Naomi just nodded.
"Understood, it's a deal then," Naomi said with a mocking smile. I sighed once more and looked at Maki and Mai.
"Come on, let's get out of here," I said to both of them. Maki was the first to move, standing up and starting to help and push Mai, who still seemed really dazed. I let my mother out of my shadow; she looked around at all the injured until she fell on Naoka, and she just sighed.
"Nice improvement, hands are a privilege," Mom said curtly. I stifled a laugh, but Naomi didn't. We ignored Naoka's glare. I looked at her one last time before letting my shadows swallow her severed hands, smiled mockingly, and started walking behind Mom while leading Maki and Mai. Before leaving, I glanced over my shoulder.
"Behave yourselves, Zenin family. I wouldn't hesitate to wipe you all out if you cross the line." I threatened one last time before following my mother and the girls.
