The moment class ended, Naruto stood up and left the classroom. Many students remained behind, talking with friends; even Sasuke did not leave that fast, they all saw Naruto... when he left the class.
Naruto arrived at the village library. The building stood beside the academy, making it easy for students to access. Naruto pushed open the door and stepped inside. Rows of books stretched across the room. At the doorstep, behind a desk sat an elderly woman wearing spectacles.
The moment she saw Naruto, her expression changed to a cautious.
Naruto Uzumaki was famous for being the lowest rank. The recent incident involving the Forbidden Scroll certainly had not helped his reputation.
"What brings you here, Naruto?" she asked.
Naruto walked toward the desk. "I want information about Konoha, its clans, the Land of Fire, and different hidden villages"
" I also want to take the books about the history of this world."
For a moment, the old woman simply stared at him. This was definitely not the Naruto she remembered.
Finally, she adjusted her glasses. "Curiosity is good, Naruto."
"But be careful about which info you are taking."
"You're still an academy student. Some records are restricted."
"There are sections deeper inside the library that contain ninjutsu techniques which require higher level."
She pointed toward several bookshelves. "You can have access to world history, Konoha's history, the Land of Fire, and its allies, its rival villages, and the history of ancient wars, and info about the tailed beasts."
"Those books should be enough for now."
Naruto nodded. "Thank you."
The librarian handed him several books. Naruto immediately sat down and began reading, One book after another.
Naruto learned about the Five Great Nations and their Kages, and their military strength.
He learned about the Daimyo, men who possessed little personal strength yet held enormous authority.
Naruto got to know about the Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan, which were rivals initially but later formed into hidden leaf village, then about the fall of Konoha's enemies, many clans becoming part of the village, and present clans who allied with Konoha.
Then, as he is surfing more, a name appeared........ Uchiha Itachi.
Naruto paused with interest to learn more about him.
Itachi....A man who slaughtered his own Uchiha clan in a single night... one who awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Interesting..... A little later, another name caught his attention.
Orochimaru.
Former disciple of the Third Hokage.....A genius but a traitor to the Leaf who abandoned the village in pursuit of forbidden knowledge. He killed many people of the Leaf for his experiments.
Naruto's lips curved slightly.... He knew in his past life too, there were people like this who pursued more knowledge by doing many taboo and forbidden techniques.
As he continued reading, he eventually reached a section regarding tailed beasts.
The moment he finished reading it, a smile appeared on his face. They had a large chunk of enormous amounts of chakra. They are like treasures waiting to be claimed by him.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
Capture them........ Extract their power........ Make it his own.
His thoughts briefly drifted toward the fox he had seen when entering this world.
So the creature that I had was a Tailed Beast, and I was called a Jinchuriki...ok, but how do I meet this monster?
After finishing a few of the books, He placed them on the shelves... the remaining books that he hadn't read, he wanted to take with him.
Naruto returned to the librarian. "Are there any techniques for training?" he asked.
The old woman looked surprised once again. Then she walked toward a shelf and retrieved several scrolls.
"These are basic training techniques."
"You'll gain access to better techniques as your rank increases."
She placed the scrolls on the desk.
"Genin....Chunin....Jonin."
"The higher your position, the greater your access."
Naruto looked at the scrolls given by the librarian.
This system felt familiar. Back in Murim, disciples were treated the same way. Outer disciples received scraps. Inner disciples received treasures. Elders possessed everything.
Naruto accepted the scrolls. "Thank you."
After saying that, Naruto left the library.
......
By the time he returned home, the sun had already begun descending. Inside his apartment, he immediately opened the scrolls.
The first was Basic Leaf Control. A simple exercise designed to improve chakra control. Naruto placed a leaf on his forehead and focused. Several minutes later, the leaf slid off.
Naruto failed for 5 times, which annoyed him.
But he expected that, since Naruto was not that talented at learning and his body had never been properly trained.
Naruto did not understand how he performed the multi-shadow clone jutsu after he gained full control....???
The second scroll focused on chakra control through breathing and meditation. He sat cross-legged on the floor and closed his eyes. Slowly, he directed his awareness inward.
He felt energy moving through his body. The similarities between Chakra and qi were so close.
So, Naruto was able to master it in just 2 trials.
The final scroll focused on basic physical development. Which contains the foundation of a stronger body.
Naruto memorized every exercise. Then he began training to mimic them.
Naruto trained all three basic techniques for hours... for tomorrow's exam.
