Seeing Videl descend from the sky, Yuujin spoke.
"Mm."
"Sirus, thank you for your guidance."
Videl nodded sincerely.
Even though Yuujin had only instructed her for less than an hour, she had gained more than she would have from months or even years of training on her own. Especially the insights he provided on the nature and usage of Ki, which were incredibly useful to her.
If she had previously felt uncertain about whether she could enter the Red Silk Girls Academy, now she was absolutely confident.
"Well, well, since we're friends, it's only natural. But in return, I'll be counting on you for my homework from now on."
"Mm, leave it to me!"
Yuujin patted the girl's shoulder, and Videl nodded in response.
Videl's academic performance was among the top in her class and school. A little bit of homework was no challenge for her at all.
"We'll continue training here tomorrow. Let's head back for now."
"Alright, see you at school later."
Bidding farewell to Yuujin, Videl soared into the sky, her agile figure resembling a fairy gracefully dancing in the air.
Watching her disappear into the distance, Yuujin's lips curled into a slight smile. Then, with a flash of Instant Transmission, he vanished as well…
"Haah…"
Inside the classroom, Yuujin stretched lazily and sat up straight.
After messing around with Snake Princess and Fist until late at night, he was woken up early in the morning by Suno and the others to guide Videl's training. By the time he arrived at school, he was so exhausted that he immediately dozed off. Now, he finally felt refreshed.
He had no idea how long he had been sleeping, but it seemed like class had already ended. Looking around, he noticed that Gokumi, Broly, and Videl were all gone, but Elisa was still sitting at her desk, engrossed in a small booklet.
"Elisa, what are you reading?"
Yuujin casually took the booklet from her hands. Startled, Elisa instantly freaked out.
"That's mine! Give it back! Give it back!"
Excitedly, Elisa tried to snatch it back, but her reaction only piqued Yuujin's curiosity further. Holding her back with one hand, he glanced at the booklet.
"The Art of Being a Secretary"
"Elisa, are you planning to become a secretary in the future?"
Letting her go, Yuujin looked at her with an amused expression.
"So what if I am?"
"You annoying Sirus, if you want to laugh, just laugh!"
Snatching the booklet back, Elisa huffed in frustration.
When people think of secretaries, they often imagine stories of domineering CEOs and their assistants. Back when Yuujin was the president of the Dragon Ball Company, he had played countless secretary temptation and office games with Bulma and Snake Princess. The fact that Elisa wanted to be a secretary was a bit of a surprise to him.
"Ahem, being a secretary is great! It's an important profession."
"Hmph, don't think I don't know what dirty thoughts you guys have! You're already imagining something perverted, aren't you?!"
"But… but I have my own ambitions and dreams!"
Elisa shot Yuujin a look of disdain before blushing and murmuring shyly.
"Oh? And what are your ambitions and dreams, Elisa?"
Yuujin became intrigued.
He knew Videl's dream—to enter Red Silk Girls Academy and become a beautiful, strong, and admired Red Silk Girl. But he had never asked about Elisa's aspirations before.
"I'll only tell you, so don't go blabbing to anyone else."
"Mm-hmm, I swear I won't tell."
After some hesitation, Elisa finally spoke, while Yuujin nodded expectantly.
"Actually… I also want to serve Lord Kami, just like Videl…"
She mumbled in a tiny voice, clearly feeling embarrassed.
"You… want to serve Lord Kami?"
Yuujin's lips twitched as he looked her up and down.
Elisa was indeed quite cute, and if she matured a bit more in the future, she could become quite a beauty. However, Yuujin had been with plenty of beautiful women, and just being pretty wasn't enough to qualify as one of his attendants. At the very least, she needed to possess outstanding abilities to be of use to him.
But from what he knew, Elisa had no real talents besides being cute. She wasn't athletic, and her academic performance was merely average. If she wanted to serve him, he honestly didn't see any hope for her.
Of course, Yuujin wasn't about to tell her that directly. Instead, a mischievous idea popped into his mind.
"You girls are unbelievable. Why does everyone want to serve Lord Kami? What's so great about him?"
He smirked and played along with his current persona.
"Hmph, you wouldn't understand!"
"Lord Kami is the greatest and most powerful being in the world. He has saved Earth multiple times!"
"Only the most outstanding women can serve Lord Kami, and they are granted eternal youth and life! Do you have any idea how tempting that is for us girls?"
"And besides, I actually saw Lord Kami on TV once when I was little! I don't remember exactly what he looked like, but I do remember that he was super handsome! Way more handsome than you, Sirus—like, a hundred times more handsome!"
Elisa huffed, throwing Yuujin a scornful glance. But as she spoke of her idol, she cupped her cheeks, looking utterly lovestruck.
For the girls of Earth, serving Lord Kami had become the ultimate aspiration. Not only did it come with countless benefits, but it was also the highest honor for both them and their families.
However, what left Yuujin speechless was—Since when am I a hundred times more handsome than myself? How does that even work?!
"Even if you say all that, given your current level, you don't really stand much of a chance at serving Lord Kami, do you?"
Yuujin teased her with a grin. They were close enough that he knew she wouldn't take it too hard.
"Mind your own business! I can still try! Who knows, maybe a miracle will happen!"
Elisa huffed, puffing up her cheeks in frustration.
She was well aware of her own limitations. Unlike Videl, she had no extraordinary talents and no chance of entering Red Silk Girls Academy. She also wasn't fit to be a Sacred Maid, something her parents had already confirmed long ago.
That left her with only one path—attending Shenron Empire Academy and hoping to land a job at Dragon Ball Company or the Divine Temple in the future. That was her only chance to get close to Lord Kami.
But even that path was incredibly difficult for her. As she said herself—Unless a miracle happens, my chances are slim…
Just thinking about it left Elisa feeling dejected…
