Chapter 369 - Android 21 (Part 1)

In the original Dragon Ball, Majin Buu was considered the boss with the strongest all-around abilities.

Incredible combat power, freakish regeneration, terrifying absorption abilities, and even the use of various mysterious magic spells.

But the Buu they encountered was in no way inferior to the original. In fact, she might even be stronger. Not only did she possess all the same abilities, but unlike the chubby Majin Buu, she was a beautiful and cute girl.

Using a bit of gourmet food to lure her over, they managed to recruit Buu into their group and have her join the temple as an ally. Yuujin felt like he had hit the jackpot.

Of course, for Buu, whose only dream and pursuit in life was finding delicious food, she also felt like she had hit the jackpot.

Back when she was under Bibidi and Babidi, those two constantly ordered her around, always promising her food but never delivering. Buu absolutely hated them.

But now, her new caretaker was completely different—generous to the extreme. He gave her so much tasty food every day, more than she could ever eat, and even had people to play with her. Buu was absolutely smitten with him.

Although at first she thought she might just leave once she got bored, now she had completely forgotten about those ideas.

She had made up her mind to stick with this generous caretaker. Even if someone tried to kick her out, she wouldn't leave!

Successfully luring Buu and making her feel a sense of belonging among them made Yuujin extremely happy. But if she was to become a truly ideal and well-behaved pet, some proper training was still necessary.

While Buu had a simple personality, she lacked a clear sense of right and wrong. She acted purely based on her mood and preferences, so without proper guidance, she might cause big trouble someday.

Yuujin originally thought it would take quite a bit of effort, but hilariously enough, Buu's training turned out to be surprisingly simple and smooth.

Just give her tasty food, and she'd do whatever you wanted. Tell her not to do something, and she'd obediently comply.

You couldn't ask for a more obedient pet!

Watching Buu happily lying on his lap, letting him stroke her little fleshy horns just for a piece of chocolate, Yuujin couldn't help but sigh to the heavens—

"She really was born to be a pet…"

Yuujin inwardly despised Bibidi and Babidi—how could they have failed to properly raise such a wonderful pet? No wonder they ended up in hell.

That day, in the temple's laboratory—

"Bulma, thanks for the hospitality."

Caressing Bulma's beautiful cheek, Yuujin said with a grin.

The once-clean lab was now a complete mess. Beautiful bodies lay sprawled all around, and even Bulma was slumped powerlessly against Yuujin, their bodies still tightly connected.

"This… this is all your fault! You ruined our entire experiment!"

Bulma pushed herself up and scolded him angrily.

They had been in the middle of an important experiment when this scoundrel claimed he just wanted to "take a look." But one thing led to another, and it ended up like this.

No—every single time ended up like this!

"It's just an experiment, we can redo it later."

"Bulma, you're my wife, the goddess of this temple—you don't need to personally handle everything. Don't work yourself to death."

Yuujin waved it off, but Bulma grew even more frustrated inside.

"You're one to talk! You're not the one doing all the work!"

"The Red Silk Girls' gear needs upgrading, Launch wants me to develop new battleships for the expeditionary force, the temple's defense system still has tons of loopholes, and on and on…"

Bulma listed item after item, and Yuujin began sweating inwardly.

She really had so much on her plate, and yet he kept messing with her like this… he felt pretty ashamed.

"Bulma, you really should train some reliable subordinates to share the workload with you."

Feeling guilty, Yuujin suggested weakly.

"You think I haven't tried? But not just anyone can do my job!"

Bulma rolled her eyes at him.

It wasn't pride—she was just stating the truth. Bulma's ability to manage the temple wasn't just because she was the goddess, but because of her genius-level intellect.

Especially as a scientific prodigy, there were few in the world—no, the universe—who could compare.

The temple had many talented people, and Bulma did have many capable subordinates, but for certain things, only she could do them. Her underlings simply couldn't handle it on their own.

"You've worked so hard, Bulma."

Yuujin softly caressed her cheek, his voice gentle.

They had built a thriving empire together, and Bulma's contributions had been enormous. Yuujin had always kept that in mind.

"W-Why are you suddenly saying that…"

Blushing slightly, Bulma was flustered.

This terrible guy—he had just been bullying her so fiercely, and now he was being all gentle and soft. It made her feel strange.

"I mean it, Bulma."

"Gokumi and I only know how to fight. Without Tights and you, we wouldn't know how to handle everything else."

"Hmph, at least you know."

Yuujin said sincerely, and Bulma gave a huffy little grunt, secretly feeling proud.

At least this scoundrel knew how amazing she and her sister were—her hard work wasn't going unrecognized.

"The temple and the empire are important, but I don't want you all to work too hard either. We have endless time and a limitless future. It's fine if we take things slower."

"Mm, I know."

"Well… maybe there is someone who could help lighten the load."

As if something had occurred to her, Bulma said this, and Yuujin's interest was immediately piqued.

"Oh? Do tell."

If there really was someone who could share Bulma's work, Yuujin would be all for it.

Not only would it ease Bulma's burden—it would also mean more time for him to mess around with her!

If Bulma knew what this guy was secretly thinking, all her previous tenderness would vanish and she'd probably bite him to death.

"Most people can't match my genius or help with my work, but… we could make someone who can."

"In the data left behind by Dr. Gero, there was actually one plan he never got around to implementing. It was a blueprint for creating a truly perfect android—even beyond Cell."

"A perfect android beyond Cell?!"

Yuujin was stunned, and Bulma nodded solemnly.

"Yes. In Dr. Gero's designs, this android would possess both supreme intelligence and strength—a truly perfect being."

"Android 21!"
