Something about being called by your main boss is exactly as daunting as when both your parents especially your dad is calling to speak to you, or even when the principal wants to speak to you in school.
It almost seems as if I did something, but I have no idea yet.
I knock on her door, and she says, "Come in Genevieve."
I walk in with a smile knowing that look on my face is a big facade.
I greet her, and she does the same.
"You may be wondering why I called you here, but I want to ask you if there is anything you would like to tell me," she says simply looking at me as if she knows something I do not.
"Something like what?" I ask her even more confused than ever while racking my brain over what she feels like I should tell her.
"You seem to be in the dark right now," she says stating the obvious.
