Initially, he acted as a middleman without producing anything himself, but later, he directly invested money in sand dredgers and even opened a quarry; his business grew bigger and bigger.

However, at some point, he was the first to sense trouble ahead. He decisively pulled out of the illegal sand mining business, and later, he retained only a small share in the quarry business, with the majority stake taken over by a person with significant clout.

It wasn't long before one by one, his former brothers got into trouble. Except for him and two others who withdrew earlier, all were incarcerated. The ring leaders even received life sentences.
