Dozens of nuns stared at the main entrance of the grand hall, some with expressions of alarm, others with looks of stern resolve. Most were in a state ready to draw their swords, with a few already having half-drawn blades.

They maintained these myriad poses, their bodies frozen, unmoving as they glared at the entrance to the hall. Only occasional movements of their eyes suggested that these nuns were still alive.

Under the watchful eyes of the dozens of nuns, the White-haired Taoist, wearing a warm smile, slowly stepped into the palace, heading towards the nun at the back holding the Jade Seal.

"You..." Xuan Yin's finger trembled as she pointed at the White-haired Taoist who was slowly approaching, her eyes filled with surprise and revulsion.

"Daoist Qingyu pays respect to Uncle Master Xuanyin," said the White-haired Taoist with a smile, bowing reverently.
