Ichigo, Kurotsuchi, Head Captain Yamamoto, and Urahara stood on top of Sokyoku Hill.
On a fleshy looking pedestal; Courtesy of Captain Kurotsuchi, sat a ball with the engravings of 3 beasts. One side, A large beast. Another, a large blue spiked serpent. The final side, and brightest was an engraving of a Void colored Dragon. It's eyes shone truest black when reflecting light.
"Simple. Unleash your getsuga at the orb, and my machine will calculate the data it receives. I'll sift through the readings and give a report after the experiment." Captain Kurotsuchi spoke after sitting back in a chair he grew out of calcium.
Ichigo's eyes narrowed, as did Captain Yamamoto's.
The young god spoke out and said "What are you gonna be looking for?"
"Well, not that you simpletons know, but at first glance I could tell that it was silently absorbing reishi. Conducting this experiment will prove why." Captain Kurotsuchi said whilst staring at a weird purple flesh-like tablet, seeing numbers and data flying across the screen.
Ichigo rolled his eyes, and unsheathed the longer Zangetsu.
The ground vibrated, and then disintegrated.
A black aura flowed into the stratosphere causing the atmosphere to ignite around the reiatsu, giving off a multitude of colored flames.
"Getsuga..." Ichigo said softly while pointing the blade straight at the orb.
The Orb itself began to vibrate,as if anticipating the energy.
Mayuri's smile grew infinitely.
"Tensho." Breathed out Ichigo, as a black beam of energy surged out of the tip of the zanpakuto, and hitting the orb itself.
The clouds disappeared from tumultuous torrent of wind,as did every tree in the foreseeable distance ahead of Ichigo.
This attack sent a wind that was felt in Reverse London, The west branch of the Soul Society, Causing a certain Brunette to keep her hands on her skirt to prevent it from flying upwards.
Once the attack ended, the orb was floating, and each beast crest was orbiting the now segmented object.
Inside, was a great green light shining through, not as if a green light was exuding from it, but as if it was a reflection of something green.
Ichigo sheathed his hollow sword, and Mayuri's and Urahara's eyes were transfixed to the screen, occasionally trading excited glances at eachother.
"Well, Head captain." Kisuke Urahara, Ichigo's mentor spoke out, gaining the attention of the ancient captain.
"We have found a way into another universe." Kisuke said, as the orb opened wider into the shape of a large oval window with the beast crests orbiting it, and through theglass there was a field and in the distance...a certain tower taller than the clouds.
"Reporting.." Kisuke said into his soul pager, seemingly calling the head captain.
News was sure to spread.
Ichigo had taken in the strangly nostalgic view from his spot on Sokyoku hill, directly in front of the portal, He had just informed his Familia in the world of the living, soon there would be a captain meeting to discuss the plan of action for the newly discovered realm.
*BOOM!*
The sky turned a hideous blood red, as the expanded sekkisekki barrier that now encompassed the outside of the rukongai began to change color.
Ichigo, Urahara, and Captain Kurotsuchi all stopped what they were doing to see what was going on.
The ground trembled horribly as everything began to turn black and change.
The ornate Japanese style buildings were now replaced with Icy stone city buildings.
Sokyoku hill was the top of a castle, and Ichigo, Urahara, and Kurotsuchi were at the middle of it all.
The change only happened within the inner seireitei, the Rukongai had been unaffected.
Just then, Screams, Alarms, and grand quincy crosses erupted out of the cityscape.
"The Quincy, Well. I'm off to do experiments." Kurotsuchi said, Flash-stepping towards the direction of the 12th division.
"Ichigo, there's no time to lose, we have to find the head captain." Urahara said, unsheathing his zanpakuto.
Ichigo spread out a web of reiatsu towards the 14th division headquarters in the Outer Seireitei, to locate people, and found 3 strong spiritual pressures surrounding..."Hephaestus!" Ichigo said, causing Urahara to go wide eyed, as he struggled to but failed in keeping up with the young god.

Hephaestus and Kazui were relaxing in their living room, when all of a sudden the door opened and a stranger stepped inside.
"So. This is Kurosaki's family, huh?" A man with a suave hairstyle said. "Leaving his family alone? A fatal mistake."
Hephaestus sighed, and put her book down and stood up.
"Excuse me, but who are you?" The goddess asked, as Kazui yawns and opens his eyes.
The young boy stretched and said "Are you a friend of dad's?" with a smile.
The stranger chuckled and said "Actually, no. Far from it little guy."
"Mom, what's this stranger doing here?" Senna asked, coming into the living room from the hallway.
"Senna, Kazui, go to uncle Kenpachi's. Now." Hephaestus said.
"Um, actually. That'd be a big problem for me. I was told to take you three with me to his majesty. For what? I dont know, probably not my business. To disobey is a fatal flaw." The man said, twisting some gadget on his wrist, somehow getting a heilig bogen to form from the small circles.
"Go with you?" Hephaestus chuckled. "You're mistaken." She said, as she stood straight up and outstretched her arms.
Seeing this, the man chuckled. "What, a hug?"
At this, Kazui got off his ass, and flash-stepped to Senna, and took them two far away from the mansion.
Seeing this caused the man's forehead to sweat slightly.
Hephaestus's usually rainbow-ish aura turned a bloody red.
"Weapons...What kind of smithing god would I be if I did not know just how to use each and every one of them." Hephaestus asked.
Sensing danger, The man generated a purple ball and tossed it at the woman.
She swatted it away, and right then and there, thousands upon thousands of spears sprung up from the ground and impaled the man in every square millimeter of his body.
The castle exploded with the sheer mass of spiritual steel that generated from Hephaestus.
Just then, Hephaestus had to take a knee, feeling dizzy and lightheaded.
"It was...a fatal...flaw...to use so much of your reiatsu on me! It's now fatal to you too." The newly regenerated man said, pulling the last of spears out of his body.
Hephaestus looked up at the man, seeing double vision, as her aura lessened slightly...until it brightened and she re-outstretched her arms.
The air shimmered, and she said "Gunpowder doesn't have reiatsu."
An explosion equivalent of 1,000 tons of TNT went off, obliterating the quincy.
Just then, she heard "You didn't need to go Nuclear!" As she got swatted into the ground creating a massive crater.
A man with the classic "Valkyrie" Helmet yelled out.
"Askin, Get up you weakling!" The boisterous man yelled out
"Give me a break Gerard. It's hard coming back from being torn apart." The man named "Askin" spoke out, his pants hanging on by a thread, and a lack of torso clothing. His entire body was charred, but regenerating little by little.
"She said gunpowder, A fatal flaw on her part, so I simply became immune to death via gunpowder." Askin said
"That's not how it works." A third voice spoke out.
"Oh, you joined us too, Lille?" Gerard spoke out, turning to the third quincy.
"Of course I did. This is the objective of today's invasion." Lille said, walking down the crater to the unconscious goddess.
"Huh?" Askin said, feeling sick to his stomach.
"Where are the brats?" Lille said, turning to Askin.
Askin however, was looking all around frantically, until his eyes settled onto an object flying at him at many times the speed of sound.
Gerard reached out his hand and caught a slender and fiery black sword held by a child.
"What did you do to mom!" The boy said, sensing his mom's lowered spiritual pressure.
"Hah! So fiery! Lille, Did his Majesty say to take these two as well?" The man said, pointing at a young girl hiding behind a boulder.
"Yes. Don't kill them."
The blonde quincy's grin widened, as he threw the boy back.
"We can have a fight if you want. Look, There's dear old Mummy" he said, pointing at Hephaestus's unconscious body in the crater, being approached by Lille. Just to rile the boy up.
"!" A massive blood red aura flooded the area, and Gerard was loving it.
"This fight is mine! He's so young but his reiatsu is stifling!" Gerard spoke out.
"You got it, i dont want any part of it. It would be a fatal flaw to step in." Askin said, walking towards Senna.
Kazui'seyes turned black, as a mask eerily reminiscent of Ichigo's hollow mask, lacking the eyes.
The boy blitzed the Miracle, and sent him into the ground behind the quincies, Gerard held his ground, and taunted. "Come, boy! Get it!" As he blocked numerous attempts from Kazui to behead his opponent, Eventually, Kazui's mask was shattered by Gerard's fist, as he was sent into a boulder, knocking him unconscious.
"No! Don't Touch me! Mommy! DAADDYYY!" Senna began to cry as she was held up by Askin, her little armor clacking around as she struggled against Askin's grip.
"Shut up little girl, you're destroying my eardrums." Askin said,
"Don't touch them with your filthy hands!" A blood curdling scream came from Hephaestus, as she materialized in-front of Askin, her hand through his neck and gripping his spine.
"Die!" She screamed, as she ripped his head from his neck, the now headless body fell to the ground. "I CONDEMN YOU TO AN ETERNITY IN TARTARUS!" The irate goddess shouted, as Askin's body burnt into black flames, as the very air around a 40 foot radius became foggy.
Askin's body had mended itself, and he became conscious once more.
"Didn't wanna do this right away, but here. Take another gift." he said, holding his hand to Hephaestus, as if expecting something to happen.
Nothing happened.
He fell through the ground into water, Looking up, there were thousands of undersides of river boats...
He screamed, but there was no sound.
Back with the rest of them, The air cleared, and Lille pulled his rifle to aim at the goddess.
"Distract her while i grab the children!" Lille was cut off as Gerard punched the goddess back, and chuckled while she tumbled around kicking up dust in her wake.
"A fiery woman. What did you do to Askin, where is he?" Gerard asked, trying to point his finger at the woman.
Lille Collected Kazui and Senna, and began to retreat during this
It was then that Gerard realized that his hand was missing.
In confusion, The dust settled revealing the goddess, but her hair was now waist length, unkempt, and her eyepatch was missing.
Her disfigured eye was glaring straight at him, whilst glowing a bright red.
"Unsightly, We need to go. This is good enough." Lille said, holding the twins under both arms.
"No!" Hephaestus screamed, as she tried to run forwards, but couldn't, Her leg was broken and her tibia was protruding from the skin above her shin. It had been broken during the last attack she suffered.
Her aura negated the pain and prevented her from bleeding, but she was now immobile.
"Dont you DARE!" She said, tears welling in her eyes.
"Come get them!" Gerard taunted, walking into a tall shadow-like doorway.
At their disappearance, the woman collapsed.
"Where..are you..Ichigo?" Hephaestus cried in her hands.
Where was he indeed.

Noticing the explosions everywhere in the outer seireitei, and within, the quincy war was back in full throttle it seemed. The acrid stench of sulfur and burning bodies filled the air, as the ground trembled with shockwaves.
The Outer Seireitei was currently locked in fierce combat with the newly invigorated Quincy Soldat corps, Arrows flew, and swords clashed.
However, a certain smithing goddess gave the seireitei an upper hand due to superior armaments and armor, the Outer seireitei army didn't have such a hard time holding the line, and even driving the soldats into a corner, but destroying the seireitei seemed not to be the target.
Somewhere in the sky, a billowing ball of black reiatsu raced towards a castle, even the dust clouds he flew through were erased.
"Hephaestus!" Ichigo shouted and began to shunpo straight to her location.
Coming into sight, a familiar figure was recognized.
Yhwach.
Smiling, his black cloak flowing with the winds. "Hello, my son. Born in the darkness." Juha Bach spoke out.
"Move!" Ichigo said, sensing the battle taking place at the Castle that Hephaestus resided in.
Yhwach smiled and materialized his reishi sword.
The younger god's eyes darkened as he realized what he must do, This time he will destroy the threat once and for all, and protect everyone.
Ichigo wasted no time in rushing the quincy King, and this time his slashes were all blocked.
The Death god's eyes widened in surprise, he was slashing a great many times faster than sound, and all were blocked.
Looking at the Quincy King, his eyes were split into 3 Pupils, Before he could say anything, a massive explosion destroyed the castle Ichigo was heading to.
Realizing what this meant, sweat beaded upon Ichigo's forehead as he kicked Yhwach in the stomach sending him careening hundreds of feet backwards.
"I said MOVE!" Ichigo yelled, charging a getsuga as he flew towards the quincy king, leaving afterimages in his wake
"Who are you to order me around?" Juha Bach asked, Materializing a massive bow and arrow, and firing upon Ichigo.
"Learn your place." The quincy king spoke with a grin, as they both felt Kazui's spiritual pressure dim.
Ichigo's full helmet materialized as both of his horns began to simultaneous charge a cero,
"GRAN REY GETSUGA!"Ichigo shouted, an all black Getsuga was thrown against the two orbs of hollow energy and was sent blazing towards The eldritch Quincy.
The air vibrated and ambient static electricity was smashed against eachother causing bolts of lightning to explode from the attack itself. The air surrounding the two beings was swallowed by the apocalyptic attack.
Yhwach smiled in satisfaction while a grand arrow from high above descended with such great force collided with it, sending it straight down.
The quincy king locked eyes with Ichigo, and pointed downwards towards...
"Hephaestus!" Ichigo yelled, using the fastest combination of Sonido and Shunpo he had, causing his very shihakusho to burn from friction from the wall of air he hit when leaving the vacuum his attack created.
Arriving in-front of his own attack he threw another Gran rey getsuga, this time empowered by his full helmet...But suddenly appearing in-between both attacks was Yhwach holding Hephaestus by her neck.
"Despair, my son." Yhwach said, using hyrenkyaku to disappear whilst leaving Hephaestus in the crossfire of two catastrophic attacks.
"BANKAI!"

"Do you know what this means?" Mirba spoke out, finishing her phone call with someone from the 13th division. She had heard the news of the portal, and had to share it with her familia.
Ren walked over to the other side of the office, and sat on a chair whilst pulling out a flask.
"Yeah, no. Dont care" Ren said, drinking the liquor.
They had been without Soma for six years, the main culprit? Kazui. Not by drinking it mind you, but by using it as a makeshift explosive against an annoying Vasto Lorde.
"We can go home! We can see Orario again!" Mirba said, switching to Push-ups, disregarding the sweat rolling down her brow.
"Oohh whoopee, No more Big Wacs, No more Manga, No more Interwebs. Sweet sweet medieval lifestyle with the taverns and whatnot." Ren said, playing on a phone.
Mirba stopped mid pushup.
"Of course you'd be bummed out, didn't take you long to assimilate to this cushy lifestyle. Made you kinda soft too, I might add." Mirba snickered as she continued her workout.
"Still yourselves. This is a serious matter. If this world, Lord Ichigo's homeland, can peer into Gekai, Gekai can peer into this one. The people of this land are far too soft and untested to properly deal with the perils of our world. The Shinigami being the exception, however. Should bad actors or evildoers break into this dimension, and start causing chaos, there wouldn't be much that would be able to stop them. At least not without exposing the afterlife to the focus of the Humans." Acero said, sipping a cup of tea whilst studying the extensive history of the soul society.
Mirba's workout ended, and she stood up while grabbing the towel next to her.
"True, That would definitely cause a bunch of mass hysteria. Guess that's why our squad was designated overseers of the coverup operation." Mirba said, putting a pin in her hair, binding the left side of her bangs to her head.
*BOOM!*
The earth began to shake in such a manner it would cause great panic, except nobody but the trio felt it.
Mirba's back burned hot, as did Ren and Acero's.
Deep in Kisuke's Training area, Cassandra's back also burned, and her hair began to turn a stark white.
"Hark" Cassandra said, standing straight up as a deep purple aura emanated from her
Standing with the small woman, Observing her new look "Eh? Cassandra-chan?" Yoruichi Spoke out.
"i must speak to my lord" Cassandra finished, and then collapsed in a heap onto the ground beneath her.
Yoruichi's eyes widened as Cassandra's hair returned to it's deep violet hue.
"Tessai!" Yoruichi shouted as she kneeled to Cassandra's unconscious body.
The feline woman could see blood leaking from Cassandra's back as well.
