Gabrielle stood there, staring at Josephine, her mind running a million thoughts a minute.
"Please Milady don't force my hand," Josephine begged, meeting her eyes.
"Please Josephine, don't fight me on this," She responded, stepping closer to her, "I know you think you're doing what's best for me but you don't understand what Kenton is capable of. The fight is just not worth it, it's just better this way."
"And I'm telling you that it's not better this way," Josephine pushed back, "This is never going to be the way to go about it."
"Why can't you understand how dangerous it is for me to stay here," Gabrielle questioned, fuming.
"Why can't you understand that leaving is only going to put your life in danger," Josephine shouted, "It's not only going to hurt you but everyone else around you. Staying here is your best option! Why don't you see that?"
