Gabrielle slowly cracked open her eyes, sun rays shining through a tent window, shined down on her face, blurring her vision.
'Where am I,' She wondered, putting her hand up to block the light.
She slowly sat up, as she looked around her seeing the sight of white tables that had medical supplies on top of them, beige walls, and an open door that had a curtain blocking it.
She looked down seeing white bedsheets, and lifted up the blanket, seeing herself dressed in purple silk pj's and her ankle wrapped up in medical bandages.
She swung her feet off of the side of the bed, placing her hand on top of her head.
'What happened…'
She thought back, remembering the ordeal with Ansel.
She stood to her feet, limping over to the tables, and examined all the supplies.
'I was with Ansel before I passed out but he's nowhere to be found… Was I imagining everything… Is he truly alive or did I make it all up… Was it all just a dream…'
