Chapter 301 - The Opportunity to Devour Majin Buu

In the Dragon Ball world, there are not many people who can use magic, so magicians naturally form their own small circles.

Moro, the Planet-Eater, was the most powerful magic user over ten million years ago. Naturally, Babidi had heard some rumors about him from his father, Bibidi.

However, since Moro had been stripped of his magic by the Grand Supreme Kai and imprisoned in the Galactic Prison over ten million years ago, Babidi never expected to encounter anyone related to Moro.

And to think, the person in front of him was a Saiyan!

"Wait! If you're Moro's disciple, then your master should still be locked up in the Galactic Prison, right? Don't you want to set him free?"

Realizing that Zuke's magic techniques were likely learned from Moro, Babidi instantly understood that he might not be able to escape.

Zuke's magic could dispel his protective barriers, and his raw power far surpassed Babidi's. The hand gripping him felt like an iron shackle, making it impossible to break free.

Now, all Babidi could do was try to negotiate with Zuke, hoping to strike a deal that would spare his life.

"You have the ability to release Moro?"

Zuke was somewhat surprised. Although he had already devoured Moro, he was curious about how Babidi planned to free him.

Was he planning to lead his minions to attack the Galactic Prison? Didn't he fear attracting the attention of the Supreme Kais?

After all, the Galactic Patrol was connected to the Supreme Kais. If they ever encountered a criminal they couldn't handle, the Supreme Kais would step in to assist.

That was exactly how Moro had been captured by the Grand Supreme Kai over ten million years ago.

"I don't have that ability, but I'm reviving Majin Buu!"

Feeling the hand around his neck tighten slightly, Babidi broke into a cold sweat and quickly spilled everything.

Although he wanted to hold back some secrets, under the threat of death, Babidi couldn't afford to keep anything hidden. He decided to reveal everything to increase his bargaining chips, hoping Zuke would spare him.

"Since you're also a magician, you must have heard of Majin Buu, right? Among the Supreme Kais, his name is as feared as Moro's!"

Zuke had indeed heard of Majin Buu, but not through the magician circles as Babidi assumed.

Moro had been imprisoned in the Galactic Prison over ten million years ago and knew nothing about the current magician circles. He had only taught Zuke magic techniques and nothing else.

Zuke knew about Majin Buu from the *Dragon Ball* series he had read before crossing over.

This confirmed one thing for Zuke—Majin Buu's egg was indeed in Babidi's possession, likely inside the nearby spaceship.

The ship, which had been buried underground in the original story, now stood tall beside Zuke and Babidi.

With decades still to go before the original timeline, Babidi probably hadn't collected enough energy to awaken Majin Buu from his egg.

"I've heard of him, but perhaps not in the way you think."

Confirming that Majin Buu was here, Zuke sneered and tightened his grip on Babidi's neck.

"Thanks for the information. You're no longer useful."

"Wait! Don't you want to save Moro?"

Babidi seemed to realize that although Zuke's magic techniques were taught by Moro, Zuke didn't seem to hold any fondness for him.

Even when Babidi mentioned Moro, Zuke's emotions showed no fluctuation, as if Moro meant nothing to him.

Desperate, Babidi quickly changed his approach:

"I-I can teach you magic! I can sense that your magic techniques are mostly focused on 'absorption,' while your skills in 'control' and 'defense' are quite rudimentary!"

Indeed, the magic techniques Moro taught were primarily about manipulating and absorbing energy, while Babidi's magic involved mind control and protective barriers.

But Zuke wasn't interested in Babidi's magic.

First, the mind-control ability wasn't particularly strong. The two humans Babidi had controlled on Earth immediately fled from him when faced with the threat of death.

If the survival instinct of an ordinary human could overcome Babidi's control, what was the point of learning it?

As for why Dabura was so loyal to him... it was likely just a case of like-minded individuals.

As for protective barriers, Zuke had an immortal body. Defense wasn't something he needed to worry about. Even if an attack hit him, so what? Could it kill him?

Moreover, Zuke was about to devour Majin Buu—Majin Buu's body also had strong regenerative abilities, making protective barriers even more unnecessary.

More importantly, Zuke had chosen to learn magic from Moro because Moro had lost his magic, ensuring Zuke's safety around him.

But Babidi still had his magic. If Zuke spared him, given his cunning nature, Babidi might escape at any moment.

Zuke couldn't watch Babidi 24/7 in the mission world, so there was no way he would let Babidi live to teach him magic.

"No, you'd better die now."

Zuke gave Babidi no more chances to beg for mercy. He was certain Babidi had no more valuable information to offer.

"No... no! Please..."

Babidi felt the fingers around his neck tighten further. He could only let out a hoarse, desperate plea—but this time, it was useless. Zuke's hand clenched without mercy.

*Crack!*

Babidi's neck was instantly crushed. His small, withered body and head separated, falling limply to the ground.

Even with only his head remaining, Babidi still had a breath of life left. He glared at Zuke, his mouth opening as if to utter some final threats.

*Crunch!*

Zuke stomped down, crushing Babidi's head into pieces—he wouldn't give Babidi a chance to deliver any last words.

Some of Babidi's magic required incantations. If Zuke hadn't crushed his head in time, Babidi might have chanted some troublesome spell in his final moments.

Just like how Majin Buu had covered Babidi's mouth before killing him, preventing him from reciting a sealing spell.

"With Babidi dead, the next step is to find Majin Buu's egg."

After casually firing a ki blast to destroy Babidi's body, Zuke headed toward Babidi's spaceship.

With Babidi dead, the people he had controlled would likely break free from his influence. They might come to check on the spaceship soon.

So Zuke had to find Majin Buu's egg immediately and devour it.
