{Transitioning to SHin}
"Daddy, Sister Tohru seems really unhappy today."
During dinner, Illya whispered to Shin.
Perhaps because she had never had a father before, after accepting Shin as her father, Illya quickly grew attached to him, even going so far as to secretly report things to him. She had noticed Tohru's behavior today and felt it necessary to let Shin know.
"I see... I understand. Thanks for letting me know."
Shin couldn't help but laugh as he patted Illya's head.
Illya smiled happily, clearly enjoying his affectionate gesture—as if it could make up for the lack of paternal love she had missed in the past.
As for why Tohru was unhappy... Shin could guess. It was probably because when he returned today, Tohru had caught the scent of another girl—Eriri—on him.
Though Tohru had already accepted the other girls in the household who had relationships with Shin, Eriri's scent was new to her. After all, Eriri had never visited Shin's home before, so to Tohru, she was just another "new girl Shin had charmed."
As a maid, Tohru excelled in every aspect, even in serving Shin at night—but she was also incredibly jealous. Among all the girls Shin knew, Tohru was the most prone to jealousy, often sulking whenever he interacted with other women. Of course, calming her down was simple—just shower her with love. (The methods for doing so need not be elaborated.)
"I actually had something I wanted to test... Might as well try it with Tohru."
As he ate the meal Tohru had prepared, Shin mused to himself.
Despite her obvious displeasure, Tohru's cooking was as delicious as ever. Though she hadn't been a maid for long, her learning ability was exceptional—her culinary skills were now on par with professional chefs. The satisfied expressions of everyone at the table were proof enough.
After dinner, Shin found Tohru in the kitchen.
She was washing dishes, her face practically screaming "I'm unhappy." When she noticed Shin enter, she glanced at him, then huffed and turned away, clearly sulking.
Despite her apparent refusal to speak to him, her tail kept wagging, as if waiting for Shin to coax her.
Her puppy-like demeanor made Shin chuckle.
"Stop sulking, Tohru. Come to my room."
With that, he turned and left the kitchen, knowing she wouldn't refuse.
Sure enough, though Tohru stiffened for a moment—hesitating—she immediately dropped the plate she was holding and chased after him the moment he walked away.
Of course, thanks to her magic, the water and sponge in the sink continued washing the dishes automatically, unaffected by her departure.
Soon, Shin returned to his bedroom and turned to face Tohru, who had followed him inside.
But when he turned around, he was greeted by the sight of Tohru standing completely naked before him.
Though her maid outfit was technically made from her dragon scales, she could still "remove" it—though the mechanics of how remained a mystery.
"...Why did you take off your clothes?"
Shin didn't make a habit of using his ki to monitor others in daily life, so he hadn't noticed Tohru undressing along the way. By the time she entered the bedroom, she was already stark naked.
Fortunately, there were no other men in the house—or perhaps, Tohru only dared to strip in the hallway because there were no other men besides Shin.
"Huh? Didn't Shin call me here to...?"
Tohru blinked in confusion.
In her mind, whenever she was upset, Shin would comfort her that way. So when he summoned her to his room, she naturally assumed it was time for some... intense exercise.
To make things easier for him, she had undressed along the way.
"We'll get to that later. Right now, I need your help testing something."
Shin was both amused and exasperated—he really had turned Tohru into quite the enthusiastic maid.
In the original story, Tohru already had a bit of a yandere streak, but under Shin's influence—and after being exposed to certain educational materials online—that trait had become even more pronounced.
If not for Shin's superhuman physique, he might not have been able to handle her enthusiasm.
"Oh... Okay."
Seeing his reaction, Tohru sighed. A flash of light later, and her maid outfit was back on.
Though she was a little disappointed Shin wasn't immediately taking action, since he said "later," she could endure a little longer.
"So, what does Shin need me to do? Destroy a country?"
Tohru was incredibly powerful—destroying nations was child's play for her, as the original story had repeatedly shown.
But Shin obviously wasn't asking for that. If he wanted to annihilate a country, he could do it with a flick of his finger.
Instead, he raised his hand. A golden ripple emerged from his palm, and from it, a small, glowing orb slowly descended.
The orb was tiny—no larger than a marble—but it radiated an astonishingly pure energy.
"...?"
Tohru stared at it in shock. Though she didn't know what it was, she could sense an overwhelming power within it. It wasn't magic, but something else entirely.
"This is the energy of a planet... Well, not the full amount. I consumed most of it and kept just this little bit."
Shin explained.
Before leaving the Dragon Ball world, he had found an uninhabited planet, devoured its energy, and preserved a trace of it within his "Gate of Babylon" to bring back.
After confirming that planetary energy could be transported between worlds via the "Gate of Babylon," he began wondering—could others absorb planetary energy?
In Dragon Ball Super, Moro could share energy with others to enhance their strength—but how much they could handle depended on their physical condition.
So now, Shin wanted to test—could people in this ordinary world also utilize planetary energy?
