Chapter 565 - Chapter 565: Going Home with Yui Yuigahama

The aquarium in Japan almost always had dolphin shows as a staple. After Shin and the others entered the aquarium, they naturally came to watch the outdoor dolphin show venue for a while.

Shin wasn't particularly interested in dolphins, but the three girls beside him seemed quite interested, so he patiently watched with them until the end.

"The dolphins were pretty cute... but I don't know why, I felt like today's dolphin show wasn't very smooth."

After watching the dolphin show and before leaving, Yumiko Miura also gave her opinion on this dolphin performance.

Yumiko Miura, nicknamed the "Flame Queen," actually quite liked aquatic animal performances and would even seriously critique the performance quality.

"Indeed, the dolphins all seemed a bit fearful... Could they be sick?"

Yui Yuigahama also gave her evaluation. Compared to Yumiko Miura, the more delicate-minded Yui had also noticed there was something wrong with the dolphins themselves.

Hearing this, Shin looked up somewhat helplessly at the sky above the outdoor venue—in the blue sky, Shin keenly noticed two huge shadows behind the clouds.

That's right, Shin knew why the dolphins appeared somewhat fearful—it was because in the sky, two dragons were watching this place.

Dragons from another world, just like in legends, would cause instinctive fear in some creatures, as if it were a racial suppression by higher beings over inferior species.

The dolphins that had just performed should have sensed the gaze of the dragon clan from high above, which was why they seemed so timid.

Fortunately, the trained dolphins still managed to overcome some of their instincts and completed the performance with difficulty, avoiding embarrassment for the staff.

"Perhaps the dolphins really weren't in good condition."

Shin didn't say much more, just smiled and went along with what Yumiko Miura and Yui Yuigahama said, then followed them out of the outdoor performance venue.

"...Did Akawa just look in our direction?"

In the clouds in the sky, Tohru, in her dragon form, hid her head in the white mist and couldn't help asking Kanna beside her.

"I said from the start that Tohru-sama couldn't hide from Shin-sama."

Kanna was also in dragon form at this moment. After absorbing enough electricity, she could use her dragon abilities again.

Hearing Tohru's concern, Kanna couldn't help but retort—Shin's gaze earlier had clearly spotted them, he just didn't call them out.

Tohru's strength was inferior to Shin's to begin with, so being discovered was only natural. Kanna never thought Tohru could escape Shin's sight from the start.

"But I can't help it. Akawa went on a date with other girls again. Even I get jealous."

Tohru's voice was somewhat gritting—it wasn't dissatisfaction with Shin, mainly jealousy toward the girls around him.

"And this time it's three more girls I've never seen before... Damn, there are too many rivals."

What Tohru didn't know was that there were quite a few girls she hadn't seen who were close to Shin—even in other worlds.

Although Tohru had long gotten used to such things, she would still get jealous when it was time to—as long as Shin could satisfy her at night, her complaints would eventually dissipate.

"Should we continue following?"

Kanna's mental age was still young, so she didn't have Tohru's jealous personality. She actually thought having more people at home would make it livelier.

However, since she admired Tohru quite a bit, she ultimately didn't refuse some of Tohru's actions.

"Forget it... Akawa already saw me. Even if we continue following, it's meaningless."

Tohru thought for a moment, then let out a dejected sigh, accidentally breathing out fire from her mouth that evaporated a patch of clouds.

"Tonight I need Akawa to comfort me properly."

"Good luck, Tohru-sama."

Kanna already knew very well what "comfort" Tohru was referring to, but she was quite open-minded about it and would even cheer Tohru on.

"I had a lot of fun today."

In the evening, at the subway station entrance in Ginza, Yumiko Miura waved at Shin with a satisfied smile.

Standing beside her was Ebina Hina—however, Ebina Hina's smile was rather forced, as she had learned about Shin's true situation on this trip.

Although the girls around Shin all seemed willing, Ebina Hina felt she still needed some time to digest what she had learned today.

"Yuigahama's home is farther away, so please escort her."

Ebina Hina looked at Shin and Yui Yuigahama standing beside him, saying helplessly.

Having Shin escort Yui Yuigahama alone was based on three considerations.

First, Yui Yuigahama's home was indeed farther away, and having a guy escort her would be safer.

Second, Yui Yuigahama seemed to really want to be alone with Shin—although Shin's situation was special, Ebina Hina still granted Yui Yuigahama's wish by letting her walk with him.

Finally, after Shin and Yui Yuigahama left, she would have a chance to explain Shin's situation to Yumiko Miura alone.

Yui Yuigahama seemed able to accept many girls being around Shin, but whether Yumiko Miura could accept it was unclear.

Just like that, Shin and Yui Yuigahama watched as Yumiko Miura and Ebina Hina left, leaving just the two of them standing at the platform entrance.

"Um... my home is this way."

After leaving Ebina Hina and Yumiko Miura, Yui Yuigahama immediately became much shyer.

She wasn't a very opinionated person to begin with and had even been criticized by Yumiko Miura several times for being too weak-willed—but she had never been able to correct it.

So now, going home with someone she admired, she didn't know what to say for a moment.

Although she had realized this was an opportunity Ebina Hina had deliberately created for her and Shin to be alone... she had never had experience going home with a boy before.

"Why so nervous? I'm not going to eat you."

Seeing how nervous Yui Yuigahama looked, Shin couldn't help but smile and say.

Yui Yuigahama's behavior reminded him a bit of Hitori Gotou initially—although Yui Yuigahama wasn't to that extent, their nervousness was quite similar.

To be continued…
