It wasn't long.
Lu Chenzhou dug out a fist-sized honeycomb organ.
Turning this in can net three hundred thousand in cash.
"Let's keep going."
Lu Chenzhou looked at the looming mountain ahead. On the far side of that ridge was the Forbidden Zone, where a Heavenly Calamity could descend at any time. There were more Void Things there—but it was far more dangerous. He asked the other two on the team; they all agreed to stick to the safe zone.
Lu Chenzhou hunted Void as he practiced his fist techniques. Most of the Void Things he killed were low- and mid-level threats; four were high-level, earning a total of 20 points of Battle Merit.
By now, dusk had settled over the Human World.
Lu Chenzhou said:
"Let's go. Head back first."
Wang Hongdao nodded.
Li Jia thought for a moment and said:
"How about you two head back first? I want to grind out a bit more Battle Merit."
Lu Chenzhou considered, then said:
"Be careful. Don't go into the Forbidden Zone."
...
Back at the outpost.
