Chapter 999 - Chapter 236: Heaven?

The temples of the Buddha Country primarily enshrine the dharma manifestations of various Bodhisattvas and Arhats, and Jiuhua Temple is no exception.

In the main hall of the temple, what is enshrined is a Bodhisattva whose face resembles that of King Zhuanlun.

However, as everyone knows, King Zhuanlun is not a Bodhisattva but Yama, so this Bodhisattva statue seems more like an expression of King Zhuanlun's unwillingness, effectively serving no real purpose.

King Zhuanlun usually prohibits others from entering the main hall for worship, as if he is also ashamed to let others see this shameful expression of his unwillingness. Thus, the main hall of Jiuhua Temple is the least disturbed place by outsiders.

Jiang Li is currently in the main hall. He sits cross-legged before the Buddha statue, and half of the Heavenly Mirror gradually descends, with the transparent, non-mirror-like side facing Jiang Li.
