The Cosmic Light Technique is almost overwhelming for enemies weaker than oneself, causing time to cease flowing at a thought, leaving the enemy helpless to be slaughtered.
However, for enemies equal to or stronger than oneself, the effect is reduced.
The exertion of manipulating time on a blade of grass versus a person is vastly different, let alone exerting it on a star, which requires much more effort.
And the difference between the strong and the weak is even greater than between humans and grass. Especially for the supreme beings, they can perceive their own related subtleties, even understanding the essence of the Dao Fruit Divine Skills, and can suppress their own power to counter the Cosmic Light Divine Ability. Although it is indeed a bit consuming, it proves to be useful.
However, this does not mean the Cosmic Light Technique is useless against equally strong opponents.
