"How can we possibly pick up those profound skills that we don't even understand, to research and analyze a cure, to fight this apocalyptic disease?"
Leon remained silent, but suddenly reacted.
"Wait a minute, since you say the respiratory disease indiscriminately kills everyone, then how are you and these people still alive? They don't seem to show any signs of illness."
There was a moment of contemplation on the other side of the headset, as if organizing thoughts, then the answer came: "We are the one in a million fortunate ones in the entire world. We endured the agony brought on by the respiratory disease, and our bodies underwent some kind of mutation. We are the only ones immune to the respiratory disease... but our numbers... are simply insufficient to turn the tide."
"... One in a million?"
