The emergence of the Maitreya Sect is not surprising to Sha Lifei.

This sect's philosophy is rooted in the Pure Land Sect, initially representing the yearning of the poor folk for the world of Pure Land.
It symbolizes a glimmer of hope in the dark soil.
In the beginning, it received support from both the court and the common people, even gaining followers among contemporary scholars.
But no matter how beautiful the false hope, it ultimately remains illusion.
When hope is shattered, resistance follows.
And this power can be exploited.
The Maitreya Sect is just like that.
No matter how many common people join, when forces from the pugilistic world, side doors, and ambitious individuals become involved, it becomes a tool for accumulating wealth and gaining influence.
However, as long as there is injustice in the world,
the Maitreya Sect will have a place to exist.
