After having his fill, Boss Wang finally came out of the hall, carrying some snacks with him, knowing that Jiang Xiaobai and Yunniang outside hadn't eaten anything yet.
"Here, have some food, you've been waiting anxiously, haven't you?"
Boss Wang took out the snacks he brought along.
Jiang Xiaobai and Yunniang didn't stand on ceremony and began eating at once.
"Lao Wang, well done!" Jiang Xiaobai couldn't help but give a thumbs-up.
Yunniang said, "I was feeling jittery listening outside; I was afraid they wouldn't follow through. If that happened, we'd have to buy that batch of grain, and the cost would have been way too high."
Boss Wang said, "They wouldn't dare; I was certain."
"How can you be so sure?" Yunniang asked, puzzled.
Boss Wang said, "I've been in business for so many years. If I didn't have this much insight, how could I survive?"
