The soldiers shot arrows at the giant eagles in the sky. The crossbows invented by Prince Pingxi were not only small and powerful, but they could also fire five arrows in rapid succession.
Some of the giant eagles in the sky were hit. Though they were mighty creatures, they were still flesh and blood. When hit, they turned wild from the pain, and the soldiers atop them couldn't control them, resulting in many being thrown off.
