The relic tower of the Great Compassion Temple is situated on the far west side of the monastery. Legend has it that Buddha resides in the west, and after an enlightened monk passes away, their soul also flies towards the west to pay homage to Buddha. Therefore, the relic tower is built on the western side.
According to the tradition of the Great Compassion Temple, the incineration of the golden body takes place on an open ground in front of the relic tower. Wang Xiao prepared everything according to tradition, waiting for Wang Kong to preside over the incineration ceremony, as Ku Mu holds a position second only to Wu Wang, so his incineration could not be done carelessly, it must be solemn.
After a while, the main figures of the Great Compassion Temple arrived at the relic tower, all dressed in white monk robes, covered with red kasayas.
