"Are you ready to leave?"
The Spirit Maiden was a bit surprised; she hadn't expected Jiang Xiaobai to leave so soon.
"Yes, all good things must come to an end, and it's time I went back." Jiang Xiaobai said.
"If there's nothing urgent, you could stay a little longer." The Spirit Maiden subtly expressed her wish for Jiang Xiaobai not to leave just yet.
Jiang Xiaobai had his own plans; actually, he didn't wish to leave so early either, but there was no other way. He knew that acting decisively was the most correct decision at the moment. The Spirit Maiden wouldn't abandon her duties and mission as a Holy Maiden because of him. Staying wouldn't make her change her mind; better to leave early and let time fade everything.
"Things here have ended, I should go and handle my own matters." Jiang Xiaobai took a deep breath and said solemnly, "Let's part ways here."
