The old Monk said, "Because of a rule at the Great Compassion Temple. Any host of the Great Compassion Temple cannot leave it."
"What kind of ridiculous rule is that!" Jiang Xiaobai frowned and said in a low voice, "Rules are dead, people are alive. Such a rule can be completely ignored!"
The old Monk smiled and said nothing. To him, a rule is a rule and cannot be broken. However, he was naturally easy-going and had no intention of arguing, so he said nothing further.
