The next hour was a period of calm sailing.

When boarding, the crew were all smiles and chatter, but now, the entire ship had become drearily silent, with only the engines roaring.

The Administration Bureau wouldn't just let this ship go, Chen Ke had this feeling. Smuggling Holy Relics was a serious crime, and Conrad's actions were not unjustified—it was the price they had to pay: a lifetime of being wanted.

Still, the fact that they flipped a ship directly caught Chen Ke by surprise; at least, he hadn't expected that Conrad would smuggle some goods while transporting people.

Chen Ke had a rough idea of where Conrad was hiding the Holy Relics, but since Spiritual Vision could only see through walls to distinguish humanoid creatures, he couldn't be sure what exactly was hidden underneath.

Chen Ke suppressed his curiosity. It was better to involve himself less in their smuggling activities, especially since the Holy Relics on him were likely more precious than those goods.
