Chen Ke radiated a purple glow all over his body, armor attached tightly to him, and the Banshee Greatsword manifested in his right hand. He gripped the hilt tightly, staring intently at Maria.
"Do you also dream of it?" Maria whispered softly, uttering phrases Chen Ke couldn't understand, then she disappeared with a swoosh.
Chen Ke heard footsteps on the floor and, harnessing the power of his equipment, charged forward aggressively. The greatsword dragged across the floor, scattering sparks and leaving a black streak.
He skidded to a halt with his right foot and turned to see Maria standing behind him; his previous strike clearly had missed.
"You learn quickly," Madam Maria said.
"The same move can't be used twice against a Holy Warrior," Chen Ke replied gravely.
"What nonsense are you talking about," Maria shook her head and charged at Chen Ke again!
Just as Maria disappeared, Chen Ke lifted the Banshee Greatsword, releasing a soul-shattering scream!
