For several days, Chen Ke had nothing to do.
It was as if the world had come to a standstill, and he found himself in a staggeringly boring predicament.
If he were back in his original world, what would he do during this time? Maybe he would sleep in every day, not getting up until noon, and then spend the afternoon munching on snacks while watching TV?
Shopping was out of the question, both before and after his crossing; he never liked shopping, and his current situation did not allow for it.
Playing video games was also out, having played all the games from 2009... He was sick of them... Sometimes Chen Ke couldn't help but wonder, why 2009? Wouldn't 2029 be better? He could not only play Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part II early but maybe even Old Scrolls 6 and GTA6.
But in 2009 not even the PS4 was released, video games were still stuck in the seventh generation, and on PC Overwatch hadn't even come out yet; everyone was still playing WOW and LOL, totally uninspiring.
