Kael knew that if he was going to use the gauntlet, he would have to sacrifice a part of his body, something Kael was not willing to do right now.
If Kael had found the gauntlet when he was just tier 5, he might have accepted it, after all, he was desperately in need of power.
But now, that was no longer the case. The illusory figure of Silax had given Kael something very valuable.
He had given Kael a clear path toward getting more powerful.
It wasn't about accumulating the most Conquering Essence; it was never about that. Conquering Essence was just a tool for a Primordial to use.
The true purpose of a Primordial was to embody their law fully.
