The dark creature let out an enraged roar, furiously igniting the black flames all over its body in an attempt to break free. Yet, these chains formed by the Evil Eye effortlessly dissolved every flame, completely neutralizing its resistance.
"Impossible! What is this power? How can a mere inferior being possess such pure, sinister energy?"
The dark creature's face twisted in shock and terror. To its disbelief, its formidable demonic Qi, originating from a mighty General-level Yimo, was being utterly suppressed by Lin Langtian's Evil God's Demon Eye. Even the demonic Qi of King-level Yimo would probably pale in comparison against this power.
"Evil God's Demon Eye, Suppression!"
Lin Langtian coldly watched the creature struggle, then swiftly extended a finger forward. Instantly, blinding black rays of energy erupted from the Evil Eye, striking down fiercely onto the dark creature.

Upon contact, these black rays triggered consecutive explosions across the dark creature's surface. Chunks of evil demonic Qi were directly blasted away, significantly weakening its previously overwhelming presence.

Lin Langtian took a deep breath, eyes radiating icy determination. The Evil Eye suddenly released a massive beam of black light, forming a rotating, bladed wheel. Without hesitation, it shot toward the dark creature, slicing straight down onto its head.

The bladed wheel effortlessly cut through space and pierced directly through the creature, causing its body to immediately split in half. The dark being released a spine-chilling scream of agony.
"Again!"
Lin Langtian's gaze remained merciless. Under his precise control, the black wheel continued flashing rapidly through the creature, instantly slicing it into hundreds of fragments.
Despite being diced into pieces, those fragments still wriggled stubbornly, desperately resisting their fate.
"Devour!"
With a final, decisive command, a powerful suction erupted from the Evil Eye, instantly pulling the hundreds of demonic fragments inside. Within seconds, the dark creature's resistance vanished completely, consumed entirely by the Evil Eye.
"No! What kind of monster are you? How can you devour my power?"
The dark creature desperately screamed as it was fully swallowed. However, in mere moments, even those final cries disappeared completely. The Evil Eye slowly closed once more, having absorbed every trace of the dark Qi.
Lin Langtian gently touched his forehead, sensing that the Evil Eye had fallen into a deep state of rest. Despite this, he felt certain that the next time it awakened, a remarkable transformation would undoubtedly occur.
With a relieved sigh, Lin Langtian turned his gaze back toward the floating figure of the demon corpse. The dark patterns had completely vanished, and the figure's once-dark eyes now shone brightly with clarity. The powerful aura emanating from him confirmed that he had finally regained consciousness and sanity.
"Senior, did we succeed?" Lin Langtian cautiously asked.
After a moment of silence, the figure broke into a joyous smile. "Young friend, you've freed me. Thank you."
Lin Langtian smiled back, relieved. "No need to thank me. Are you truly alright now?"
The figure sighed peacefully. "My mind is free at last. Although this consciousness is merely a remnant and won't last long, I am content."
Lin Langtian respectfully nodded, asking softly, "May I ask your name?"
"Ren Xing," the figure responded warmly. He continued, "You seek the inheritance left behind by our Master, right? It lies in the Devouring Realm deep within this cave. However, you'll need the three black tokens to open it."
Lin Langtian's heart tightened at this news, realizing he would now have to take the remaining two tokens by force.
"How can I access the Devouring Realm?" Lin Langtian asked urgently.
Ren Xing calmly replied, "You must head deeper into the cave, to the Central Devouring Hall. There, the entrance awaits."
Lin Langtian nodded solemnly, determination firm in his heart. "The Devouring Hall—I'll remember that."
With their goal clear, the next stage of their journey was set, awaiting them deeper within this mysterious, dangerous cave.
