Chapter 333 - 320.6: Four Years Later (2)

The cheers still echoed in their ears when the ceremony ended, and by the time Hakuto and his brides slipped away to the hotel suite reserved for them, exhaustion finally began to sink in.

The room was filled with the faint scent of perfume and flowers clinging to their dresses.

Hakuto followed last, gently closing the door behind them.

Ichika immediately collapsed onto the sofa with a sigh, kicking off her heels. "Finally… I thought I was going to die smiling in front of all those cameras."

Nino unpinned her veil with a huff, tossing it onto a chair. "Don't exaggerate, Ichika."

Miku carefully gathered the hem of her gown before sitting on the edge of the bed.

She smoothed the fabric out like it was still part of the ceremony, "It feels… surreal. Like we're still dreaming."

Yotsuba spun once in the middle of the room before falling back onto the other sofa, laughing breathlessly.

"I don't even care if this dress wrinkles anymore. I just want to lie down forever."

Itsuki remained standing, her hands folded neatly in front of her.

"We should all change out of these dresses soon. They're not meant to be worn this long."

Yet her cheeks were tinged pink, betraying her own tiredness.

Nao plopped into a chair with her arms crossed. "Change later. My whole body is screaming at me right now."

Eriri fidgeted with her gloves, her face still red. "Kissing in front of the crowd is so embarrassing…" She buried her face in her hands.

Ginko leaned against the wall, her arms crossed and eyes narrowed. "Stop whining, all of you. We knew this day would be exhausting."

Her voice was sharp, but the way she shifted her weight to rest her cheek against the wall gave her away. "Still… I guess… it wasn't so bad."

Hakuto quietly watched them, eight stunning girls with different personalities.

They were his now.

And he was theirs.

Nino turned suddenly, her gaze fixed on him.

"Right! Hakuto, why did you insist we stay in our wedding dresses?"

"Hm… it really is hot wearing this all day."

Miku fanned her flushed face with one hand.

But Hakuto didn't answer.

Instead, he stepped forward, loosening his tie at last.

The brides fell silent, their eyes following him as he crossed the room.

Without a word, he reached the suite's main door, turned the key, and locked it with a soft click.

The sound echoed in the stillness.

Eight pairs of eyes widened slightly.

Hakuto turned back to them, a slow smile tugging at his lips.

"What do you think?"

What kind of man doesn't imagine doing it with his wife while wearing their wedding dress?

He has been holding back for weeks.

Both him and the girls are so busy preparing for the wedding that they haven't done it for a while.

No one can stop him from enjoying it to the fullest today!

Hakuto's response instantly turned the atmosphere in the room into somewhat ambiguous.

Nao instinctively drew back, her hands covering her chest as a blush bloomed across her face.

Miku lowered her head, letting her bangs fall like a curtain to hide her expression.

She had been with him before, even together with her sisters, but… tonight felt different.

She only hoped her hair hid her burning cheeks well enough.

Yotsuba and Itsuki exchanged flustered glances, their faces flushed nearly as red as Miku's.

Ichika, bold as always, broke the tension first. With a sultry smile, she threw herself into Hakuto's arms.

"Can you really manage all eight of us, dear~?"

Along with that sultry teasing, Ichika even put his arm between her two mountains as she rubbed against it.

The sight sparked Nino's fighting spirit. Refusing to be outdone, she quickly claimed his other arm, pressing it against herself.

"Don't get ahead, Ichika!"

The bold display from Ichika and Nino had also stirred the other brides.

Gathering her courage, Miku rose slowly and walked toward him.

She stopped just shy of his side, clutching his sleeve delicately.

"…I don't want to be left behind either," she whispered.

Yotsuba, on the other hand, was unable to mask her feelings for even a second.

She half-stumbled, half-bounced over to Hakuto, throwing herself into his side with a bright smile.

"Hehe… then me too! I worked really hard today, so I deserve a reward, right?" Her cheeks glowed pink.

Itsuki, ever the mature one, tried to reprimand them.

"This is improper… We should—" Her voice faltered as Hakuto turned his gaze on her.

She blushed as the heat in his gaze stayed on her.

Finally, she stepped forward, standing just close enough that their sleeves brushed.

Her lips trembled as she forced the words out. "…But if it is you, Hakuto… then… I will not refuse."

Eriri stood frozen, her hands fidgeting with the edge of her gloves. Watching the others press so close to Hakuto filled her with a tangled mix of envy and nervousness.

She couldn't stop wondering—could she really go to his side too?

Among all the girls here, she was the only one who had once hurt him.

Sure, he had kissed her back at the ceremony, but what if that was only for show, a performance for the crowd?

Feeling tears pooling up her eyes, Eriri hurriedly looked down so nobody noticed.

Tears began to pool in her eyes, and she quickly looked down, hoping no one would notice.

But Hakuto noticed instantly. Of course he did.

After all, only three girls still hadn't come to his side.

"Eriri."

Her name, spoken in his calm, steady voice, snapped her attention upward.

"I'm going to count to three," Hakuto said evenly. "If you don't come here, I'll make sure you won't be able to walk out of this room."

Her heart thumped wildly, a mix of fear and joy. Strangely, part of her… seems to look forward to his threat…?

With a sudden burst, she rushed to his side.

"...Don't leave me out.."

Hakuto finally turned his eyes to the only girl still lounging on the bed, sprawled out like the whole affair had nothing to do with her.

"Nao."

"..."

"..."

The room stayed silent for a few seconds until Nao let out a sigh. She slid off the bed and trudged over to his side.

"Fine. Happy?"

"Yup!" Hakuto beamed, his grin so wide that Nao couldn't help but smile back.

Ginko had been silent all the while, watching like a hawk from across the room. But when she saw Hakuto smiling at the others, she was envious.

With a resolute sigh, she strode forward, her heels clicking against the polished floor.

"Fine. If everyone's throwing themselves at him, I won't just stand by." Her words were sharp, but as she reached him, her cheeks betrayed her with a furious blush.

"Be.. Be gentle with us.."

Hakuto's felt his throat getting increasingly dry as he gulped.

The next acapella concert is only for him to enjoy!

First of all, I'm sorry for the late upload.

I tried to write an afterstory to tie up all the loose points, because the original ending by the author left me speechless, confused, disappointed, and angry.

I don't mind a sad ending, I like charlotte.

But since you were writing a fanfiction, what's the point of following the same formula for the ending?

The only difference is Mc got more girls and he's blind.

Eriri was added since I felt like if she somehow get the news about him getting married with more than one brides but not her... she will commit suicide ngl.

So thats why shes added in the wedding.

And she was changing herself to be liked by Hakuto at her last appearance so thats a thumbs up for me.

I was about to add Utaha too but...

Eriri still makes sense cause how many she got interaction before this and how far her plot advanced already, meanwhile Utaha doesn't have any meaningful appearance after the ghost house incident.

Same thing with Rikka.

I honestly felt like they're more like a sibling somehow..

Anyway, this afterstory might not be a good written afterstory, but I have done my best.

Hopefully you can be satisfied with this ending.
