He held a bowl of congee and gently brought a spoonful to Sarah's lips.
Sarah didn't say anything more, quietly accepting the food.
Beauty, standing nearby, suddenly felt like she was the one who ought to head home and rest.
Clearing her throat softly, she murmured,
"Well... I'll let you two talk.
I'm going outside to give Lucas a call."
Before Sarah could respond, Beauty had already stepped out of the room.
