Evan held Gwen in one arm and playfully pinched Jessica's nose with his free hand. "Don't act all innocent with me. I haven't forgotten about you sneaking your phone out during class."
"Oh, that was just an accident! I got distracted and didn't notice!" Jessica looked to Gwen for support. "I don't usually do that, right, Gwen?"
"Huh?" Gwen blinked innocently, saying nothing.
"Gwen, you're throwing me under the bus," Jessica muttered, realizing Gwen was getting back at her.
"So, what were you two up to?" Evan asked, casting a glance at Gwen, who clung to him like a koala. Unable to resist, he leaned down and nuzzled her snow-white neck.
"Mm~" Gwen let out a soft sound, acting sweetly. "Jessica made me wear this outfit, Evan. You should teach her a lesson."
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she added, "Spank her, Evan!"
"Hey, no way!" Jessica quickly jumped behind Gwen and zipped up the back of Gwen's costume.
Gwen was now fully dressed in the Ghost-Spider outfit—minus the mask. Jessica had to admit, the cosplay costume she'd found was impressively accurate.
"Look, big brother," Jessica said, pushing Gwen toward Evan while flashing a peace sign by her own face, grinning deviously. "Doesn't Gwen look just like the Ghost-Spider you love? Double the fun!"
"Jessica, what are you—"
At this moment, Evan was sitting on the edge of the bed, with Gwen in his lap facing him, and Jessica pressed against Gwen's back—a rather interesting arrangement.
"Double the fun, huh, Jessica?" Evan teased, wrapping an arm around both girls. "With you in the mix, it might be triple."
With one arm, he easily held their slender waists together.
"Evan, no! I'm your—"
"Hm? Just a little spanking, Jess. It's only right I teach you a lesson."
Jessica's eyes widened, caught off guard. "Wait, you actually mean spanking? I thought—"
Smack!
"Ahh!" Jessica yelped.
Gwen clapped her hands and cheered. "Good one, Evan!" Clearly, their "friendship boat" had capsized.
Smack!
"Ow~ Evan, why did you hit me?" Gwen pouted.
"Oops… Sorry, Gwen, that one was meant for Jessica."
After a few more seconds of playful discipline, Jessica clutched her backside, glaring at Evan in mock betrayal. "Hmph!"
She then eyed the scroll Evan had placed on the table and reached for it.
"Let me see the poster. After all, I took a beating for it!"
The large poster was quite long when she unfolded it. Although Jessica was tall, she had to raise her arms fully to hold it open.
"Not bad! Maybe getting smacked was worth it."
The poster depicted a stunning night view of New York under neon lights, with a silhouette of the Ghost-Spider swinging through the city. Evan had given the black, white, and purple suit vibrant details, and the pose was captivating.
At the bottom, bold lettering read Ghost Spider.
It wasn't overly artistic, but it had the aesthetic appeal young fans would love—a perfect way to attract people to join a fan club.
"A Ghost-Spider poster? What are you planning?" Gwen asked, suddenly suspicious.
Jessica flashed a thumbs-up, beaming with excitement. "Gwen, I'm starting a Ghost-Spider fan club! And tonight's the announcement!"
Gwen: "What?!"

Downstairs, the party was in full swing.
Many people noticed a makeshift stage at the far end of the room, which soon became a focal point. Partygoers with a flair for the dramatic jumped onstage to perform, trying to impress their crushes. Breakdancing, comedy acts, and BeatBox rap hyped the crowd up even more.
One girl even suggested a striptease, but Harry stopped her, citing the "wrong age" for such a performance.
The boys in the audience let out groans of disappointment, mentally cursing Harry for spoiling the fun.
Harry, however, had his reasons. He was keeping an eye on Peter, who was chatting with Mary Jane Watson from Jessica's band. He knew Peter would be embarrassed if the show got too wild.
Just then, Peter's phone pinged with a message from Jessica.
Jessica:[Jane, quit hanging around outside. Get to the stage—our performance is starting!]
Mary Jane read the message, then smiled at Peter as she stood. "Sorry, Peter. Gotta go."
"MJ…" Peter mumbled, watching her walk away with a tinge of regret.
A slightly chubby guy plopped into the seat Mary Jane had vacated. "Not going too well with her, huh? By the way, you have to admit, it was pretty sweet seeing Thompson get what he deserved today, don't you think?"
